Messed Up 5-MeO-DALT Trip

What the hell did I smoke yesterday? I look at the picture on Erowid and what I had was more of a white, clumpy/chalky powder. I got it from a vendor who has given me good MXE a couple of times. When I first got it, I took a 40 MG capsule, smoked a blunt, stuck my finger in the bag twice to scoop someone (this was a while later), smoked a bowl with it on top of weed, and nothing. I have no idea why. Maybe it was because of the MXE I've been taking.

Then yesterday. That morning I took a good amount of MXE, not enough to make me get into a M-hole, but a good amount. By 3PM I was pretty much off of it, smoked a joint with a friend, then headed over to my other friend's house to try this 5-MeO-DALT stuff once more. Oh lawdy! I smoked a bowl of bud with a pancake of 5-MeO-DALT on it and watched as this stuff kind of melted. I then did the same thing again, except I just used the resin from the last bowl pack. This stuff melts on top of the weed and makes it so it can't turn into ash... it's weird. Anyway, that's when it started. I felt like I just smoked salvia. My stomach didn't feel so good either and I had urges to throw up, but never did. When I moved around it felt so fucking weird. I felt like I was tripping hard, HARD. I barely was able to go outside to go take a piss. I tried calming myself down after being in the fresh air, but shortly after my legs started to shake and I couldn't hold myself for too long. I went back inside and just laid down thinking that would save me. NOPE. It barely helped, I was laying down on a pillow and covered in a blanket and started furiously shaking. I calmed myself down but I still felt slanted on the ground. Just uncomfortable. The only way I could explain it to my friends was saying that I was just way to high. When it started to come down a bit, I noticed I could feel my heartbeat when I touched my throat. Just weird. I slowly started to come down and felt a lot better. My friends said I was on the floor for about an hour or two, and at one point I remember myself offering them tea.

Can ANYONE tell me what the fuck this was? A lot of it sounds like 5-MeO-DALT, but it seems like I really took it to the next level. Either that or the vendor gave me some shit to fuck with me.

So... can anyone explain to me what was going on?

Having no experience with 5-MeO-DALT, it sounds as though you increased the bioavailability by smoking it and that produced the exaggerated experience compared to your first oral trial.

I did understand that right, right? The 40mg capsule was swallowed?

I can tell you that what you smoked really sounds like 5-MeO-DALT as I had a similar experience on my first trip with it: It's like sometimes you feel like the world is turned in a weird way, like I was tripping and laying on my bed and suddenly my arm raised up and it felt like it was being pulled by a shifted gravitational field ahah. But yeah what many people unfortunately haven't realized yet is that 5-MeO-DALT when smoked produces a WAY stronger (albeit rather short-lasting) high and it is a lot trippier and weirder than when administered orally.

I think what really made this bad is that I was completely unprepared for this. I've smoked it on a bowl of bud before (different day) but I didn't feel like anything was going on. I had no idea I was going to trip that hard and just wasn't in the "LET'S GET FUCKED UP YEEE" mood.

From what I've heard, smoking 5-MeO-DALT is too unpredictable. Not the first time I've read of really uncomfortable effects like that.

Odd that the 40mg oral didn't do much though. (That's the dose I normally take of it too)
Stick with oral, but increase the dosage maybe. Don't expect anything astounding, but it should be a nice 3 hour high. Good for sex and/or munchies afterward.

Also maybe try taking it mixed in water instead of a capsule. The one time I took it in a capsule, it took a lot longer to set in.

I don't know man... I'm pretty sure I did A LOT more than 40 MG that day. I took it in a capsule and I knew it would take a longer time, but I also stuck my index finger in twice and picked up a pretty good amount each time. And remember I smoked a bowl of it on top of bud with two other people on it. The next day I snorted two decent sized bumps and that barely did anything for me. Both days I noticed a little euphoria, but I wouldn't even call it a mild feeling... extremely weak. The only difference yesterday was that this time I faced a bowl of it on top of bud and then another pancake of it on top of the smoked bud. It kind of melts on the bud and doesn't even let the bud turn into ash. Weird shit! Oh and this time I held in my hits for a lot longer. My friends told me to do this to get the most out of it.

I'm not sure if I want to touch this again. I might get a small amount from my vendor to experiment with... this time I'll scale out a recommended dose and sprinkle it on top of a bowl. I'll work from the bottom instead of rushing it like I did yesterday.

Bottom line... the feeling of this shit was definitely not good. I felt like I just smoked crack, meth, and heroin - which I've never done.
