Mescaline (T. peruvianus) - Third time - Magical Healing Journey

Fantastic report! I have used Mescaline three times now, and every time, it has proved to be nothing less than a divine tool. Peyote was what I used the first time quite a few years ago, and more recently, I used Peruvian Torch cacti twice.

Also, I might thank you for writing this, as Mescaline reports tend to be generally long. I know mine are. Alot goes on in the mind, body, and spirit throughout the experience, and it is almost like writing a book or living out a story.

^^ That's exactly what the experience was like, living out a story. And then when I went to write I just felt it appropriate to tell the story in as much detail as possible because it was so special to me. :) This actually happened a year ago, and I wrote it a year ago... I am going to call up this friend tomorrow, because I haven't really hung out with him extensively since this experience. But just recently I have moved to where he is from.

Wow, I just re-read this report I wrote from 12 years ago. So wild that it's been so long. This was the tale of my best mescaline trip. I hope to write another sometime this summer. :)

It's weird for me reading about my ex-relationship, which I did a bit in this one.

In any case I wanted to bump this because I really like this story. :)

Yeah this is an excellent report. I have always had Peruvianus and it treated me well every time. The ability to make an ordinary moment magical is inspiring.

Also I had something more to say in a report I had and was wondering if I should bump my own report so now I will. :)

This was a beautiful and very engaging report, thanks a lot for writing it all those years ago, Shadowmeister. :) As you already noted, I can only imagine it was fairly bizarre and surreal for you to go back and read this one now.... I hope you were able to extract some insights from that retrospection nonetheless.

"Delta" (who dosed us yesterday) is the one actually read the report to further consider it alongside our fading trippy state as well.... She was a little too nervous to actually post yet so I'm doing it, but she just wanted to say she really loved it too. :) It really makes us both want mescaline a lot more than we already did, and we actually do have some plans to obtain some now... but of course we probably won't get around to it until after this break through the end of the year now. Still, we'll definitely be really looking forward to it and especially now, your report really does make it sound quite special and also quite relatable after a lot of the things we've been through as of late.

Thanks again for sharing. ❤ We'll definitely be looking forward to the next one you write too. ☺

Mescaline is a beautiful, beautiful drug. I may take some this weekend at my music festival, we'll see. It's an interesting combination of subtle and profound. Glad you enjoyed the report. :)

I tried this type of cacti once, simply by eating as much I could and had my stomach upset for the whole experience which ruined the whole trip, it was enjoyable but I'll only use synth mescaline from now as there is no nauseating feeling or perhaps a very pure extract.

For some reason I don't get nausea or stomach upset ever anymore. I have a pound of outer cactus flash, dried and powdered, and I can shove 20-30 grams in my mouth in several loads, drink water, swish it around and swallow, then eat a finger dip of peanut butter to wash the taste out and never get nauseous at all.

I never get nauseous either. I grind to a powder and toss and wash. I usually have some yogurt to chase it. I think once it is powdered it is very easy to take. About 2 hours in I take a few tokes and C'ya.

My last cactus trip last Fall was strong but I was waiting for it to be over. And here is why. My wife had went to Canada to visit her parents, both in a nursing home. Her mother had not eaten in 2 weeks and was basically dying. She had severe dementia. There is that story in TIHKAL where Ann was tripping with her friend Sam and watched a dog get hit by a car. That feeling of unsettledness as they waited for the dog to die. Nature was unsettled and almost holding it's breath. As soon as the dog passed on Nature continued and there was more of a peace. So I attribute my last cactus trip as an extended type of almost holding my breath until my MIL died. It took her till March of this year but she passed. So I wanted another cactus trip as all my others were beautiful, peaceful and enlightening. This last one has strong visuals but I was so unsettled so it was me that could not really enjoy it.

I had planned on a cactus trip this week as my wife is in Canada seeing her father. But the weather all week has been foggy, drizly, schmeazy and unsettled not in a good way. Just a blanket of humidity and fog and no air it seems. So I am going to pass. I don't want to do it just because. Not that I don't trip on foggy cloudy days it's just that the last few times were like that and I live across the street from a huge state park and I want out! I think I may wait till the Fall for a cactus journey. I still want to do something. Maybe 2C-B. I really like it but I really need one of the classicals with some good weather. I can not even see the mountain outside my kitchen window as it is very foggy and has been the last 6 days. Grrr. Oh well. I'll read trip reports. :) Being older I feel I'll pass more than I will just do something because I have the time.

lol, totally get that. Trips on sunny days in nature are really something.
I am planning my second mescaline trip, made syrup from 100+g san pedro...buy havr no idea how Im gonna drink this cup of syrup. One finger taste and its the most bitter thing ever.

^ Hey Lordfran, let us know how the syrup works. Type up a report. I never had the patience to boil down cactus. But I am curious as to how it comes out for out for you. :)

I recently bought a pound of powdered san pedro cactus outer flesh... it's not bad at all to just toss and wash. SO MUCH better than cactus snot/goop.

Once I discovered that I could pop the cactus in a food dehydrator, powder it, and take a measured slug of it with some juice I was sold. It's by far the easiest tek, and it works well for me. Unfortunately, this had no bearing on the nausea for me. Mescaline always makes me queasy, so I take ondansetron or lemon essential oil if it's bad (since THC and I don't get along.) I miss the days where I lived in a climate where I could grow cacti. *sigh*, bridgesii...
