Actually,I think it's the effect of the drug increasing ones appetite that could cause weight gain. Anti-depressants can also go both ways. Some people have less of an appetite while on them and actually lose weight. You probaly won't notice either until after a couple of weeks. But,if you do notice yourself eating more,a good,healthy diet will prevent weight gain.
