Mephobarbital.... aka Mebaral

a friend of mine thru me this pills, saying it was a sleeping aid, she wanted me to try it out... erowid says it's a long acting barbituate... will this just knock me the fuck out for 8 hours, or will it have some recreational effects.. i noticed taht the more popular barbs are short acting..
it's a 32mg pill.. if i eat it, what should I expect.. i've wanted to try a barb for the longest time, but i wanna feel it, not just drift into coma-land...

32mg isn't going to knock you out into a death coma... it's going to be much like you just had a few beers.. you will feel mellow and at peace, thats about it...

LMAO @ Death Coma.
No you won't die...but the half life <as with most barbs> is ridiculously long...so if you take it and DO fall asleep, you're going to be groggy the next morning.
Also, take note...no matter WHAT food you happen to eat while under the influence of Mepho...you WILL BURP THAT FOOD UP ALL NIGHT.
I donno what the deal is, but everytime I take Mepho with [food] I burp that food up all night.
