Mephedrone/methylone with Bupropion?

I am taking 150mg a day of bupropion (aka wellbutrin, zyban).

Would taking mephedrone or methylone or both in combo be a bad idea or should i be ok? Cant find much on this subject.

I've been on 300mg of Wellbutrin XL since Jan 2006. In the summer of 2007 I combined it with methylone a few times but not mephedrone. It was pleasant for the most part except that I was sweating like a pig and also I felt slightly light-headed. I had some Xanax to calm me down mind you. I honestly wouldn't recommend it if you don't have a benzo or similar sedative to take the edge off if it feels like it's too much but that's just me.

In the absence of any technical advice, I would advise three things:

(1) Thoroughly read the wiki entries on all three substances. They're usualy kept bang up to date with conflicts with other drugs
(2) Check erowid
(3) If you do decide to continue, don't mix the drugs to start with, they're very different. I'd probably start with the M1 in a very small dose (30mg), just to test for conflict. Increase very slowly (and on different occasions). Repeat with Mephedrone if happy with M1. Mix if happy with all.

Stay safe, buy some scales if you haven't got some already. Also, buy these substances seperately in powder form so you can make your own doses. I wouldn't trust any online retailers in the Uk at the moment (if that's where you live), due to it's impending illegality.
 
Methylone (I believe) has 3x the DA release of MDMA and the same level of Serotonin release. It's a pretty potent DA releaser. Wellbutrin is an SDRI. Surely those two combined could cause a huge amount of Dopamine to be present in the synapse? Is there even such a thing as dopamine syndrome?

Yes there is, it's called a Hypertensive Crisis.

no, it realeases more dopamine than mdma (certainly not three times though), but it realeases roughly a third the serotonin of mdma. that is mdma releases 3 times as much serotonin as methylone
 
^^ Agreed, it will not lower blood pressure back to normal but if you're the anxious type who gets really panicky on stimulants (if you are this type of person you should probably be avoiding strong stimulants in the first place), Xanax will reduce the anxiety and/or panic associated with (for example) tweaking too hard.

In the summer of 2007, I remember going to a rave and I got a hold of some pills that had a lot of meth in them. By 5am the next morning, I felt way too shaky, anxious and restless. I proceeded to take 1mg of Xanax and it calmed me down enough that I could actually relax on a couch without feeling the need to get up and do something. However, it by no means (significantly) reduced my heart rate or blood pressure.

You gotta get some phenobarbital for shit like this, it will blow benzos out of the water for comedowns.
