I used to be a heavy user of Mephedrone, and developed a number of mental health problems associated with stimulant use (psychosis, paranoia, depression)which took a good year to finally recover from. After this, it has taken me another year to start to resemble the person me once was before, but blood circulation is terrible, sometimes my cognitive and numeracy functions are impaired (not registering things around me, having to count on fingers) and mood swings also bad.

Has anyone else experienced any long term after effects that alarm them?

Yo dude, also used to be a heavy user of 'drone... good on ya' for nocking that shit on the head. I've not consumed drone in a year and 5 months.I have trouble with skattyness and circulation x

Thanks mate, I found that tripping helped do some brain recovery. What's the lifestyle been like for yourself after mephedrone? :)

Same here, It's one year and a half since I've last used meph and still have some slight circulation problems and panic attacks, anxiety is still here :( I was an anxious person from the beginning but it was a different anxiety. Pot helped, it gives me a panic attack in the beginning but after it goes away I find that I feel better, also the next day is better, but the second day is bad again... so I'm really really looking for a cure from all this sh*t :( I'm sick of living like this.

But I'm not sure if it's the meph or the jwh's yet ...

Eeek... synthetic cannabinoids will only worsen anxiety..... by a lot.
Remember, some synthetics can be over 30x the potency of natural Cannabis..... and unlike bud, you can't smoke grams constant without wigging eventually.

People are forgetting that with the crackdown on JWH-like chems & spice, banned chems are being replaced with new or otherwise unknown ones.
More recently, the post-ban incense suppliers are switching to brands laced with new, novel grey-market amp or khat analogues. The problem is that synthetic cannabinoids are powerful enough to mask the difference to unfamiliar users, and they're now much harder to obtain than speed RCs for spice formulations.....

Honestly, initally quitting that stuff was the hardest thing i've ever had to do (thats probably not saying much as i'm in the winter of my 18th year but still...) it's a constant battle- i can remember when everything i saw- everything i thought was mmc. I'm quite angry that i don't have my journals here so i could give you some snippets of what was going on around that time. the only way to describe it is the time before and after drone... thats how i look at my life- its a very significant event.

Lifestyle wise- i'd never even consider allowing myself to come close to having a simular relationship with any substance- it's taken its toll on my town x

fucking eating fake mollys at the club that were more than likely meph caused bad anxiety and derealization to me. fuck meph. i'm sticking to my mdma

Went thru a decent ammount of meph about a year and a half ago, I wouldnt be surprised that it has greatly contributed to my existing anxiety/depression. Hope things get better, my cognitave and motor skills are effected, but i put that down to the ammount of xanax i take daily.

Just a helpful pointer, so its easier for others to help wrap their minds around the problem....

I understand that in this era, polydrug use is common across the spectrum of legal and illegal pharmaceuticals.... but when trying to pinpoint a problem substance, it's a frustrating endeavour to figure out which one if there are 2-3 other very powerful substances at play.

What mephedrone does on its own long term is enough of a mystery.... but through a bit of personal reflection and study, I'm sure the individual can get a good idea of it's dangers alone. But start wrapping it up with other crap..... and its just an excercise in futility all around.
