Hi guys, joined today - been stalking Bluelight since I've been taking Speed and now I have a question for all of you.

I understand that while under the influence of a drug, information you take in at the time is better recalled later when you are not sober again. So my question is, I've been studying for 4 days now whilst sober. I have covered 4 topics out of 12 topics that I have to know before my exam in two days, if I take speed to learn the rest of these topics (more for memorising the icky parts as I have understood the lectures throughout the semester) a day before my exam and stay under the influence of the stimulant during my exam will I be able to recall the information I had studied whilst sober?

I know not to take too much to be able to concentrate, I'm just worried that I won't be able to recall the information I had learnt while sober!
Sorry if this comes across as a silly question guys, I'd never usually take this for an exam but I want to ace this exam and don't have enough time left!

The way it works is that when you study on stimulants, norepinephrine facilitates oxygen to the hippocampus allowing for extremely efficacious consolidation of long-term memory. Therefore to access the stored memories the same way they've been stored, a similar state is required. I see no reason why this has to work the other way around.

This isn't a basic question so I'm moving it to Other Drugs.
