Great for you guys tho! :D Loooove Melbourne. Grew up there until I finished my PhD, then moved to Sydney for my most recent degree. Now to The Gong (temporarily I hope!).
Soz, can't come. Would be great to hook up with some BLs at some stage... will be at Good Vibrations (Sydney, Feb) and obviously The Gong on a permanent basis

woah... I'm out of it for a little while (read:11 months. stupid work-then-study-then-no-play and not having anything useful to say because bluelight aus social is a high quality forum. truth.) umm... what was i saying?
Yeah, I'm out of it for a little while and look what happens! I'd love to get another big free 2 litre tub of cheese and probably even more cheeses for free too because the dairy has expanded it's production but forgot that family-run businesses suck because the children are inevitably inept. So there'll probably be lots and lots of left over cheese (management 'forgetting' to sell it) just waiting to get 'used' by the employees.
Last year was cool except i got so sunburnt that my nose blistered, and then when i went home early (because i was a scatter-brained hungover pansy that had to drive so couldnt drink) i spilled some oil on my pants and it looked like i had pissed myself the whole way out of melbourne on public transport (oil doesnt dry out).
But this year i'd be able to drink, cause i live much closer to the city and public transport-able.
And then theres mention of a winery tour, and like, what with knowing lots of people in that industry in the yarra valley (including my older brother, one of the winemakers at punt road winery) i could possibly provide some little insight into that.
So i'd LOVE to be of help, and to get back into the bluelighting scene.
But i'm going to france to visit my mum dec25th to jan17th

However, if anyone wants to do a run up to the dairy this weekend i could hook you up with cheese then... just ask to talk to tom.
I strongly recommend the Gemello. It's a 70/30 mixture of cows and goats milk, and it's one of the creamiest and tastiest cheeses i've had. *edit->Marketing* It also comes packaged in vac-sealed plastic which means it lasts up to six months un-opened, making it a great gift!
The Persian Fetta has, unfortunately, degraded in quality. They've doubled production, and it shows Well, they also lowered the salt content to please supposed customers, so now it has become almost bland.
