Melanontan 2 = Illegal?

Hi All

I've been doing some research into the legal status of Melanotan 2 in Australia. This TGA document confirms a recommendation for it to be designated schedule 4: http://www.tga.gov.au/pdf/scheduling/scheduling-decisions-1012-final-a.pdf

And it appears in the Poisons Standard 2012 (Melanocyte Stimulating Hormone): http://www.comlaw.gov.au/Details/F2012L01200

Seems pretty clearly prescription only aka not legal to just get off the net. Yet I see many sources claim it is legal in Australia, or at least "not illegal".

well ye it is pretty grey area, I don't think one would get into much trouble for it. It could be taken by customs into Aus though on suspicion of anabolic steroids or something though. It can be ordered on Aus websites so it isn't explicitly illegal, and it doesn't get you high so probably doesn't get as much attention.
