[MEGA] Vaporizers Thread

Ok so you guys are saying if I wanted to get just thc (I.e a sativa feeling) I would set my vape bettween 150-160degrees c ?

At lower settings, you are vaporizing more THC and less CBD / CBN / etc. producing a more "psychedelic" / clear-headed effect. In general the vaporizer high is more clear and energetic; however, for a true sativa feeling you will need sativa-dominant bud. You can hit indica at lower settings, but I still find it more sedating and a different feeling.

I find that 350 F / about 177 C is the point where things become more sedating than energizing. If it's early in the day I might smoke up to that point, and save the rest for later. I will hit in 10 degree increments from 325F to about 390F. This produces vapor that many people find too thin, but I like it. Anything above 400F and I figure I might as well be smoking.

The BEST hits for me are around 335-345 F, the flavor is so strong and delectable. Of course you will need some good greenery first.

finally someone fucking answered my question !!! Comon guys .

Sorry bro its finals week and I've been busy. I always put my vape on max. Might as well get all the goodies out there. Anything else just doesn't deliver the high most people know and love

vaporizer question...

brought my vaporizer a couple of months ago and i love it to pieces :D i doubt it does but do the burnt herbs that you get when you finish the vaporizer have any THC at all left in them? was just wondering...

They may not have much THC left, but they do contain CBD / CBN / other cannabinoids and this makes vape guts perfect for making cannabutter or something similar... So save those vape guts!

I suppose if this is the megathread, it would be the best place to ask. How would one go about making a vape?

you can buy a digital heat gun, bag with attachments(one with a screen, one with a mouthpeice). google heat gun vape. my buddy has one and it works awesome.

been thinking about getting a volcano myself. tired of hacking shit up all day long.

Theres allot more chemical reaction going on in weed than just THC. Vapes only extract thc and leave behind everything else that attributes to a good high. So personaly il stick to my bong. But every method of smoking produces a different high. Its all about preferance

need vape advice

I've been using glass pieces since I started, I want to upgrade to a vape.
Is this one on [No links to off site that sells anything considered pharaphenial or cannabis related. this is considered sourcing. Please read the rules, since you are new, just letting you know. -Chainer] worth purchasing based on the information on the page?

Also, would somebody with experience tell me the main pros and cons.

"You get what you pay for". There are better models for a low price, just do a search for one of the many vape threads in this forum. Go educate yourself and then buy.

Not trying to be a dick but there was a thread like this very recently, should contain what you are looking for.

That model looks like chinese-made junk and probably won't last you very long, will break easily, or be shoddy as hell.

When buying a vapouriser you firstly want to look at the construction, and then the ease of use before you look at the price.

This is the kind of reply I was looking for %)

OP, if youre a psychonaut that is in love with that feeling you get from weed, get a vaporizer. you will never regret it. if you enjoy the physical act of grinding, rolling, and smoking your weed as much or more than the high, i'd advise against one. two reasons: theyre more expensive than a nice glass bong, and most importantly, ive discovered that vaporizing cannabis leaves me feeling unsatisfied, restless and generally dissatisfied with my experience. im 21, minor tolerance to weed, and in many (i.e. mornings, during a shift at work, etc.), if not all cases, joints or bongs are my preferred MOA

I hate the high of vape only as well. I like to smoke before and after some vape hits to give me a well rounded high. Vape delivers lots of THC but not as much CBN as I like. And as for what vape to get, buy it nice or buy it twice I always say. One good vape will last you many years. Its pennies a day to own a vape and even if you don't smoke alot it will still pay for itself.

i bought a iolite handheld vap. Reviews are great. Ill report back as soon as i use it. Have not recieved it yet.

Sorry for the bump, but I was at the shop today, saw a nice looking conduction style vaporizer for $75 Australian. Conduction ones are where the bud sits on a metal plate inside a glass dome and is heated up and then sucked through a hose. Are these any good? Is there any danger from the metal? I am too cheap for a volcano....
Also, I saw one that was almost like a crack pipe, where you put the weed in a glass container and you light the bottom of the glass under the weed. Is this any good?
Can you vape through a speed/crack pipe?
