Sour Diesel is definately a very special strain. Very distinct/unique smell, taste, appearance, and high. It comes from a strain called Chemdawg which is supposed to be one of the most famous/potent strains to exist. Although Sour Diesel is mostly sativa, it's sister Kush (also a daughter of Chemdawg) is mostly indica. I have a special place in my heart (and lungs) for these strains (have yet to try Chemdawg). Also coming from the NYC area myself i havent seen Sour or Kush go for any less than $500/oz (i've heard of people in the financial district/Wall St. paying upwards of $600-$700)

i acually had a couple hits of sour diesel this past july at warped tour in dallas! it was so good.

my favorite strain. i've had some that was sticky to the point of being clay-like. it's delicious.
What I've had is called supposedly Sour Diesel Kush, so it might be slightly different. It felt like a total Sativa high though. Like I said VERY psychedelic and beautiful, fun. Only downsides are the high is kind of shorter than the usual, and the smoke is HARSH as hell. But I'd recommend this strain to anyone and everyone.

Hawaiian punch x jack herer was pretty awesome.
there was a LOT of sour diesel here in chicago last month, but it's pretty much all gone. more coming soon though. that shit is SO good. we payed 65 an 8th from a guy we didnt know. we were pissed at first, but then we tried it and didnt even care. it was SO SO amazing. my friend has been smoking every day for like 7 years and he said he'd never been that high before in his life.
There's lots of jack herer in illinois right now...and im happy about that.

I've never gotten paranoia from weed at all, so I can't help you there....
But trainwreck gives a very pleasurable high that feels like your mind is in the atmosphere. I'd suggest smokin some of that and just try to tune out the nonsense (paranoia); doesn't do any good at all.

^Well I didn't even read your reply and I immediately was going to suggest Trainwreck. Some just came around where I live again and it is hands down my favorite strain, the high is perfect. Bong rips of this shit will put you in the sky. It is the only strain I actively look out for and will buy no matter what (supposing its legit.)
