I'm in Canada and I belong to a compassion club and therefore I always know the strain (if I can remember it 5 minutes later). Quite a set up really.
I agree that there is a predominance of Indica up here. I think it's due to the 'medical market' but not being a grower I'm not sure if cetain strains grow better here even with climate control.

, harvesting early will also give you a high instead of a stone. Premature sativa buds are zing-zingy. If you were searching for a strain with similar characteristics landrace sativa's are what you'd be wanting. I've consistently read that strains developed at higher elevation, specifically ones in S. Africa and Indonesia have THCV due to more UV-light exposure at those higher altitudes. THCV is apparently more "psychedelic" in the hallucinogen sense than delta-9. Propyl side chain replaces the amyl chain of THC.
