[MEGA] Cannabis Strain discussion thread

I think it was blueberry that I had while I was in Hawaii with some surfer-type guys...it was so smooth, I loved it. Being high for the sunset was surreal, one of the coolest things I have ever experienced. I haven't tried Maui, though.
 
for the most part i think pot strain names are bullshit.. unless you know the breeder and he named it. even the "bubbleberrystickyicky" seeds you buy from vendor A arent likely to be the same exact strain as vendor B

I completely agree.

The average dealer doesn't know the origin of their marijuana despite what they may say. They're going to say whatever sounds possibly believable and whatever they can to charge more for their product.

It's no different than a dealer not really knowing what the quality of his LSD is, or the content of his Ecstasy pills, etc. etc. etc.

Most people only know as much about drugs as what they've been told from someone else who was told from someone else who was told from someone else and on and on and on. It's lies, exaggerations and bullshit passed on from person to person as absolute fact.

I disagree. Very few people know the origins of their LSD or Ecstasy, but a lot of people personally know where their marijuana comes from. While the sheet of LSD your buying has probaly changed hands a dozen times before getting to you, that bag of high-grade marijuana your purchasing is most likely only a few steps down from the grower.

I'll agree that *most* people (the idiots) who claim to have some "BlueberryXNL#5xBogglegum" are full of shit, a lot of people actually know what kind of weed they are getting, because they purchase it directly from the grower.

yes, but Skunk #1 from suppiler A isnt the same exact strain as Skunk #1 drom supplier B. the full strain name is 'Supplier A Skunk #1" but nobody says that they just say "Skunk #1". Then there is the problem of dealers making up names.


Since everybody has a different idea about what Skunk #1, strain names are bullshit :D
 
everytime I buy silver haze it tastes, looks and smokes the same. It has a most definitive berry taste and an uplifting, sativa high.


I used to be able to get blueberry...... now I just get dank but once in a while I get silver haze.
 
WEll the weed I get now the kid I get it from deals pounds of it we don't call it anything it's just dank nugs from california.That comes across state to mass.

Well I can say I have definatly smoked some killer strains that I know for a fact are what they are said to be.

White rhino-Which was the best i've probably smoked.
white widow-Also very very good but I still think I liked white rhino better.
bubblegum-which had a cherry bigleagechew taste to it.The high was nothing like those two but was still very good and the taste just topped it off.
and I saved the best for last.

Purple sativa-All dark purple buds the high was like I was in dream world I just felt sooooo good and relaxed and it was just the best high I've had.

all which were from amsterdam.
 
blueberry all the way...the taste is just so unique, so untouchable...in terms of potency I think its basically impossible to tell which one is stronger, the THC percentages aren't different enough so that there's a noticable difference (unless you trick yourself into believing you have superhuman powers and can tell the difference between like 15% thc and 18)...so it all comes down to which one is more enjoyable to toke up..blueberry all the way holmes
