Medication to make you eat

I second remeron i ate sugar out of a bag on that shit. I think they use some anabolics to increase hunger to but those have alot more side effects. Test hasent increased my appetite that much though

Yeah I take Mirtazapine (15mg) as well and it gives me the munchies lol.

weed helps me with appetite a fuckton, to the point when i stop smoking after it becomes a habit i lose my appetite for a couple of days

pregabalin REALLY helps as well, just treat it with respect but it's an amazing drug for weight gain (and proper sleeping, which is a godsend if you're a chronic insomniac like me, i take it for that and it helps me sleep better than any benzo out there)

other than that i wouldn't know... do some fuckin excercise tho, that'll get you hungry if you have issues with appetite. And it's also good in general, always.

It honestly surprises me how often MK-677 gets overlooked, considering it’s one of the most effective tools currently available for increasing appetite. From both a practical and physiological standpoint, it remains one of the most reliable options we have today for stimulating hunger without the typical drawbacks associated with other compounds.

To be clear, MK-677 (Ibutamoren) works by mimicking ghrelin, the body’s natural “hunger hormone,” which not only enhances appetite but also supports growth hormone secretion and overall metabolic function. This dual mechanism makes it particularly interesting from a research and performance perspective.

What genuinely goes beyond me and is honestly both laughable and concerning is seeing people suggest antipsychotics for weight gain. These are serious medications with substantial neurological and metabolic side effects, and using them for this purpose is not only ineffective but potentially dangerous. Framing them as a viable solution in this context is, frankly, irresponsible.

If the goal is to increase appetite and support weight gain in a more targeted and biologically aligned way, then MK-677 deserves far more attention in these discussions.

Anyone ever get the munchies? Hey, is some areas weed is sort of a prescription drug, because in some places you need a pot card from a doctor.

That's honestly a really fair point. I'm kinda desensitized to pregabalin being such a serious compound because it is basically OTC where i am and people use it a lot for a variety of reasons but if you have a chronic appetite issue it's definitely a bad idea to take it just because it happens to have weight gain and hunger as a side effect, especially long-term and unsupervised. Definitely not the best of advice.

All that said, it's the first time i've heard about that compound. How much literature is there on it at this point? Genuinely curious
