Medication refill question?

I'm prescribed 20mg adderall a day. Well, my new script says "Do not fill until 3/21" which is tomorrow. I looked at the calender and that hasn't been a full 30 days because my last bottle was filled 2/21. It's been like 28 or 29 days come tomorrow. Is the rule (or law) that you have to wait 30 days? I'm not familiar with these things really. Would I be able to get it filled since my doctor wrote 3/21 on it, or would I still have to wait until the 22nd or whenever the 30 days is up? I don't know what trumps what, what the doctor wrote or what the pharmacy laws are. If anyone knows anything about this? Also if I posted this in the wrong place, sorry about that.

Month in and month out I get my 10/325 Norco 30 day script filled every 28 days.

Actually it can depend on the specific drug and on your insurance. If your script is for the same drug/dosage as your last your insurance may have rules about you not being able to fill it before a set date (a certain number of days before your last fill would/should be gone if taken as prescribed). And some states might have additional rules about filling scripts too. Note that rules about opioids wouldn't necessarily apply to Adderall. I would assume Adderall should be fine to get filled when the date on the script is only 1-2 days before your last fill would be out. Just ask your pharmacy.
