Medical MJ Card.

I will be 18 soon and i plan on getting my medical card. does anybody have their card, what was your excuse and what happened as far as the process, also how much was your card? any advice and tips would be good.
i was planning on using my knee as an excuse, "chronic pain", i do in honesty have a bad knee that always hurts and i rather smoke one bowl versus taking 6 Advil or whatever.
but anyways anything would probably help.
