OK, been wondering this for a little while now. I live in a state where Medical Marijuana is not yet legal. I want to move to a state where it is Medicinal. Do I have to live in a Medical Marijuana state for an X amount of months before I can get it? Or can I just move there and get it with out living there for a certain amount of time?

As soon as you are a resident of the state you can apply to get a mmj recommendation. So basically as soon as you get your residency card.

Just wondering, are you moving solely for the purpose of obtaining and using MMJ legally? There should be multiple factors in planning such an expensive and life changing move, imo.

My friend is in the Military and is being transferred to California and he wants me to move with him. Been planning for over a year. I mean having Medical Marijuana there is a plus but it's not the sole reason, I have some pretty server fibromyalgia and I don't like taking painkillers for them because I acquired a 5 year addiction to oxy and Cannabis helps a lot more then prescription pain killers did.

I had a massive dilaudid addiction and I wanna say the pot is a god sent...Really!! I just wanna say it saved me if I didn't have kiddos I would do the same thing...

Come on now, its very strict that we are not allowed to discuss the details of the laws of medical MJ. Including awnsering question's like this that involve you asking how long until you can legally buy pot.
This topic is not HARM REDUCTION. A good rule of thumb is that if you question involves anything about acquiring a drug, it is not allowed to be asked on bluelight.
