measuring quality of black tar heroin- reasons for turning white, powder good/bad?

Been using 10 years, I have done IV about 30-40 times, but am a regular smoker, I dont use foil, but rather clips. I have noticed good quality stuff tends to turn white when you smoke it(apply the red hot clip to the tar on the other clip, and as it smokes up the chunk gets white spotting, sometimes entirely turns white on top). I have found any tar doing this to be good quality. Does anyone know why? it does not happen on foil, i know people who smoke the same stuff on foil.

Also, I am able to tell if it is good quality taking 2-3 hits, not from the high as its not enough to feel, but from the taste. cut stuff usually has a harsher taste, but I cannot describe much else of the differences. I am sure this is the top quality stuff for southern cali in terms of black, i have compared it to the rare afghan that comes through(light brown powder which does not tar up with heat) and it was similar or stronger than the afghan.

2nd question:

when i get it, usually few hard chunks with a couple of g of light powder in the bag. From this connect, the powder is always lower quality than hard chunks, but I have had a connect a few years ago, all of it was powder when u got it and you had to blow on it to make it into tar to smoke(snorting it would jam up ur nose unlike the afgan). Wondering if anyone knows why sometimes powder is the worst part, sometimes super good?

lastly i recently came across a buddy who claims to have a connect for white h, it costs a bit more(lets say 30%), but I have not seen it yet, anyone know typical purity of tar which has not been stomped on yet before being sold for top quality? how would it comparee to white? worth the price diff? I know for a fact they dont cut it because one time their load got caught which i found out later, but they tried a lactose cut and was obvious they did not know how to mix it well... found chunks of lactose through out the bag, so some pieces were super strong some were trash some were pure lactose rock hard(the good stuff i get is usually rock hard black dusted in some powder)

The Question was not asked as the topic of the other thread, but was rather just an added question there, I did not get a satisfactory answer. The white is not due to the tar burning. It happens around the area where I hit it, not directly where I hit it. I am surprised noone else4 knows of this, I know of it for over 5 years now, noticed it longer before, never made the association until I moved further south from central CA and got consistantly good quality. Below are 2 images, 1st is how it turns white, so people can see, the 2nd is the product I am using. This is some of the best quality tar out there. It does not happen with low quality or even mid-grade. I would say you will not see it on anything under 50% purity.
