Not much in the way of drug induced brain damage will be visible on MRI. fMRI is a different story, though.

Hell, having analyzed data from experiments involving measurements via fMRI, I wouldn't trust even this instrument for confirming a negative hypothesis, such as that there is an ABSENCE of damage. There is just too much that a given battery of tasks and functional measurements could miss.

Not to say you should, but your drug use s fairly average. Needs more butane and petrolleum. ;) :D

Bahahaha... Normally an irresponsible sort of post but in this case completely warranted.

What is modern medicine anyway... we are still apes poking around inside these machines we've been given thinking we know a shitload, but we don't. Until a Doctor builds me a complete human being from scratch i am of the opinion current-state medicine is not infallible.

As an counterexample you can't tell by taking MRI image of some random individual suffering from disorganized schizophrenia that he is in fact "brainless". I don't deny the importance of brain imaging but it remains quite inchoate.

And murphycox while coke and crack may be the same thing, i did not snort the ice i smoked it, most people snort cocaine which causes bleeding and brain damage.

umm... so snorting coke causes brain damage and smoking it doesn't?

as soon as it's in your bloodstream there's no difference. it's the same chemical! if snorting causes brain damage then so does smoking.

would any of you say that 18 drops of liquid DOB would cause brain damage? i think i have brain damage from it, if not i know i have alot of lingering looneyness..lol

Avoiding heroin isnt what saved you from brain damage..Heroin isnt a very harmful drug. And like everyones stated, an MRi isnt going to show you changes in your brain caused by your drug use
