S.W.I.M has been rolling for ~5 months ( only using "pure powder MDMA" ), at first 1 cap ( 100mg ) would work wonders, now sometimes I do close to 8 caps in a night.

Some days I can take 2 and roll face, some I can take 6 and feel no real effects ( pupils do dilate still ).

Is there anything I can do besides stop using to lower my tolerance?

I've read a bit about 5-htp, and piracetam, but not really sure which to use, and how to use.

Opinions?

We don't allow, in fact we discourage, the use of the acronym SWIM.

How often do you roll?

You can cut down ALOT! thats an alternative to quitting. Use every 2-3 months but i would take a 6month to a year break to lower your tolerance.

Magnesium will lower tolerance. But its all about your serotonin and serotonin system. You need time for serotonin levels to become normail again. Next is the possiblity of oxidative damage to your axons. If these axons have been damage the serotonin can't get to that part of the brain. Long break is what's needed.

I've never heard of magnesium lowering tolerance.............
Mind providing a source????

Magnesium lowers amphet tolerance i know dat but not mdma tolerance i dont think

Well if it lowers amp tolerance I would think it lowers MDMA tolerance too.. I'd still like to see a source tho.
OP, Regardless of how often you roll, you do eat way too much E.
Take a long break, get some piracetam, get a test kit and revisit MDMA in a few years..

I may eat way too much molly, but it is very enjoyable at shows, the euphoria at dubstep shows is unreal.

I am looking into alternatives, such as Methylone, Mephedrone, but am unsure of the two.

When rolling on molly, I sometimes experience minor visuals ( minor eye twitch, vision blur ).

In an alternative I wouldn't want many more visuals than that, as I am not into psychs very much.

What would you guys suggest for alternatives at a show?

The damage from rolling so often is not worth the fun.
Like I said before, take a long break..

I suppose.

What alternatives would you suggest then?

I heard 2c-i can have stimulant like effects in lower doses, but how closely would that relate?

I know its bad to do, but I believe I am still living at least a semi-healthy lifestyle for my age.

I eat healthy, take vitamins, work out daily.

And since I've started rolling, I've yet to feel the "hangover" some people complain about.

I am just interested in alternatives to molly.

You're not really listening to what people are telling you! Rolling 3-4 times a week is going to eventually cause problems. Sure, you might not be feeling too bad ATM, but you're still in your honeymoon phase with MDMA. Don't get me wrong dude, we all feel ya. We all love the effects of MDMA, or else we wouldn't even be on this forum. :) But rolling so often isn't a good way to get the most out of MDMA.

I guess methylone would be the closest alternative to MDMA, but I am pretty sure it's nowhere as intense.

True, I'm all open to experimenting with other substances, I'm just a little freaked out with psychs. Nervous to have a bad trip :\

Holy shit thats a lot to read.
I'll definitely have to give that a read later.

The idea of Magnesium acting to lower tolerance is still being discussed around the place - to my knowledge (and please correct me if I'm wrong).

This was an idea suggested a few years ago - no evidence is available. I think its a case of internet chinese whispers - somebody read it somewhere and copied it.

Wheres RGB when you need them? :D

I think the theory behind this follows the logic of

Amphet tolerance is caused in the NMDA receptors (area of the brain) and magnesium can act as a NMDA antagonist.

Or something like that
