MDMA Therapeutic Potential

Hey guys so I'm doing MDMA for the first time on Thursday and I'm wondering the therapeutic potential of it. Although I will be in a recreational setting, I want to explore my sexuality on it because I'm bisexual and I wanna open up completely and just have one night where I can analyze myself with complete honesty and have some self growth without my ego getting in the way. Would you guys say MDMA is pretty therapeutic? I've used mephedrone four times and methylone once before so I have slight experience with empathogens but not much - I don't really use drugs. :o

I'd say MDMA can be very therapeutic. I've always taken MDMA in a rave setting and have had very therapeutic experiences. MDMA seems perfect for your intentions, and in turn your intentions should shape your experience.

Have fun.

Does kind of depend how you use the state it puts you in. At a rave, you'll probs just want to dance, talk to people and act silly (at least that's my usual night out). If you want to really explore yourself It'd probably be better with a therapist or very close friend in a calm setting. Sure, I have insights and find some temporary therapeutics benefits from raving, but after the afterglow fades nothing is dramatically different. I'd say that MDMA definitely helped me to become less egotistical and more empathetic, but their is much more work to be done, which would probably require therapeutic use as opposed to recreational.
