MDMA testing help

Hi all, hoping someone can give some advice to an inexperienced tester.

SWIM tested 2 different types of 'mdma' and some pills. all 3 apparently come highly recommended.

On the marquis (EZ test ecstacy) all 3 went straight to dark purple/black instantly:

On the Mandelin (EZ test ketamine)

both mdma samples changed the yellow liquid quickly to a dark colour, which settled with a red tint.

on the first test of the pills it was a very deep purple. a large sample was used, when re-tested with a smaller amount the similar dark red colour was found.

Does this indicate PMA/PMMA?

Many thanks xxx

I can't say for sure. Or rather I won't in fear of being wrong. But I know that every result positive for MDMA I tested with the mandelin kit, had a dark red tint to it. I even made a thread about it here. I saw pictures of test results of PMA done with mandelin and the entire liquid had that tint to it, the discoloration happened very slow and it was more brown than it was red. I can tell you that I had green android pills, straight from Holland and very well known for purity that tested straight to black with marquis and had that reddish tint with mandelin, same goes for defqons, partyflocks, bitcoins, dominos, just to name a few. All famously pure, high dose Dutch pills. Those last two I just tested with mandelin though, not marquis (yeah I know)

Again I will not say "I'm sure of this" as I too view the fact that the colors for MDMA and PMA are close together with mandelin as a huge disadvantage. Severely etarded is right, there were samples known with MDMA and PMA/PMMA in them and those would test positive for mostly MDMA too, because IIRC they contained a ratio of 6:1 or something MDMA:PMA, bit too lazy to go look it up, it's on ecstasydata I think

This thread is of interest also
