The interesting thing is that Pregnenolone is supposed to be amazing for anxiety. So yes that means a hormone imbalance can lead to anxiety, and anxiety can lead to LTC symptoms..... Hmmmmmmm

And I even read about it improving vision. Like o_O! lol

Me2pointe. This happens to me all the time after any ejaculation I will be gone for at least 2 weeks. That's why I started to do no fap and no sex for 3 months I even start to not have an ltc when I abstain.

Hmm. I read an article once on a site yourbrainonporn.com about a dude who had DP issues. He stopped watching porn and fapping off for a while and his DP went away

He was also convinced it was a hormone issue as well.

Pmz and strange stuff you guys are correct with testorone theory. I went to the clinic today and it turns out I have low t .

This needs to be treated as a hormonal issue and no gap does increase dopamine and testosterone just read the no fap website on people who have gone 90 days. I'm saying if you guys jack off to porn that is another brain imbalance that your are not taking care of.

We have been so focused on the brain/serotonin issue. Maybe that's why no one has figured anything substantial out. We could be looking at it and treating it wrong. What if, it's really not a brain damage thing. I'll say it again as I said it many times in the past. I find it amazing how there are many people who experience this DP from a non drug induced side. How can this be? Go explore Dpselfhelp.com and learn about people's DP causes. You will be amazed.

With you PMZ. Look at all the posts from people who HAVE recovered. They all say the same. The sooner one realizes this, the closer one is to recovery.

@trulyblessed

Well good for you--its great that you can plan out a recovery path now. Plenty of people have low T and have not done MDMA at all. Just dont stop the workup there though--get other endocrine tests done as well. You are likely secondary since it would make no sense for an ltc to be primary hypogonadism. But get the tests run nonetheless--FSH, LH, cortisol, prolactin, Free T3, Total T4, TSH, ACTH all done at 8 am. Cortisol its actually best to do a REPUTABLE saliva test that shows the whole day.

Lots of people on the internet who are not drug users have been there. These things are treated the same regardless.

One catch though--even the hormonal treatments are very tricky and manipulation is tough. there are many low T support forums out there you can join. Also many natural ways/supps to boost T.

You should be a little more at ease now knowing there indeed IS a reason behind your symptoms

Ive asked once with no answer but here it is: i'm not being hypocondriac or anything, only analytic. my veins are huge in my arms, my legs my feet. When I exercise they get so big I have to wear a sweater not to scare myself. They are enormous and I don't find any explaination for it...

Well yes, but look at how they are recovering. They are all pretty much saying remain calm, practice mindfulness, some are taking anti anxiety meds, some are taking anti depressants, they are all saying eat healthy and get lots of sleep. Basically the bottom line is give the body rest and treat your self well. This is pretty much the same way to treat adrenal fatigue i would say, minus the med part. But even the prescription drug route is all about trying to calm the mind down and feeling better. maybe we are stick in a mode because we are so stressed out and these various methods are calming the mind/body and allowing things to regulate in the brain, which in turn could relate to how to treat adrenal fatigue. Im not saying its 100% adrenal fatigue, but I am saying there is a huge chance that from everything we have been experiencing there was a result of adrenal fatigue anyway. I think it could help alot to try to treat this as adrenal fatigue and see what happens.

Does anyone get the numb hurting left arm? and the rib and chest pains!? Cognitively im getting better! floaters are still present but the pains man !

any advice

Thanks Strangestuff for the post. I have a normal tsh but have not done the others. I will post a link which I am unable to do now about a guy who had secondary Hypoganadism because he had a tumour on his pituitary gland. On how he boosted it up.

Is really used to yes. My body would hurt. It goes away. No worries. Just notice it and don't worry about it. It will subside after some time.

Veins get big after you work out. It means blood is pumping through your body more. I'm sure it always happened, you just never had an awareness of it. It means your getting jacked son! Keep it up!

Wow--kind of hard to believe though since he had a tumor but the general message is good and it is certainly possible to recover the HPG axis naturally. Other LTCers probably have without even knowing they had low T. The advantage of the natural route is of course no random side effects. Disadvantage is it requires time.

By the way, the adrenal fatigue theory is probably it. The psych meds are meant to balance out the neuroendocrine system. Low T is also completely connected to adrenal fatigue as well.

Yeah I agree it has to be adrenal fatigue . Did your hcg treatment get covered by insurance or is out if pocket

Out of pocket--be careful some pharmacies might have you overpay for this. Its meant for fertility so for this purpose it is off-label. I paid around $100 or so for a 30 day 10000 IU vial. Also HCG can shoot up estradiol which will make you depressed so gotta monitor everything.

Cool man thanks for the info . how do u keep estrogen down and how have you've been feeling latley

Well you gotta get an aromatase inhibitor like Arimidex (breast cancer drug) and use very small amounts (pill is 1 mg but a good dr will say only use 0.25 mg or 0.5 mg 2x or so a week) the estradiol (E2) controlling is the toughest part since too low is also bad. I will refer you to the site Peak Testosterone which has lots of info and a forum where ppl can help. You def should gather as much data about your hormones and the various treatments before diving straight into things.

Im still anxious although I can function. I was depressed a few days ago but that left yesterday and cycled back to anxiety. Head pressure is there, muscle tension, feel burnt out. I am changing treatments right now to Nolvadex though. clomid worked to a point and I was convinced im recovering in a matter of a few weeks more but then it backfired even when E2 was controlled due to its estrogen agonism of the molecule itself. Not everyone is sensitive to that though I am even at low dose 12.5 mg eod
