I used to get pure MDA by the gram. I still found it to be quite stimulating compared to MDMA. I guess it depends on your definition of stimulated though. I could easily fall asleep when I took too much MDMA whereas with MDA I couldn't sleep for at least 12 hours after eating it, sometimes longer. The peak was a lot like a nod when you did too much where you were awake and asleep at the same time almost but that's just the nature of the beast and I've had it with high doses of psychedelics in general.
And yes, those MDA/caffeine/meth pills were monstrous... Ugh. The crash from those. Fuck. Me.
