MDMA more of a 'kids' drug?

As always DJ, an articulate, eloquent and entertaining read. Bloody good story to boot :)

Party on...

^ YES... bloody good story. Thanks for sharing. Awesome. And, I couldn't agree more. My little "magic pills" help me realize that a lot of what many pursue is futile. I live a simple life, am not rich, but have a life I love and tons of freedom I adore.

Party on, indeed!!!

Personally the world of MDMA XTC/ Psychedelic drugs changed my life. I certainly wouldn't be the same person if it weren't for these drugs.

Now I have extensive experience with sobriety and the underbelly of drug use and most people who I've encountered there would view MDMA as a "weak" drug and next to none of them would choose it as a drug of choice, young or old. Instead they would choose harder drugs such heroin or prescription pills. I disagree however.

Being a huge fan of electronic music and the hippie revolution of the 60's and early 70's and also an avid Marijuana activist will probably place me in the biased category however I feel as though ecstasy and lsd are two of the most potent chemicals for enlightenment and intense experience. If one knows how to work with the chemicals they are using it is possible to use these substances simply for that purpose or to intensify an experience such as a night clubbing to add enjoyment and connect with those whom you travel with.

Cocaine has also been a long favorite of mine however I would not place this in the same category as far as experience goes. Cocaine leads a person into a euphoric ego driven rage while ecstasy relaxes the mind and opens the person up for an insane night of pleasure and compassion that is not soon forgotten.

My pleasure folks.
Though my gratitude to you should also not go unstated.

Here @ BL, I try my best to put time, effort, insight, empathy and honesty into every post that i write.

Admittedly I am not perfect, and I slip up from time to time though I always try to remain polite and informative, and never intentionally condescending or cruel.

To be honest, being a relative latecomer to the internet as a social network, I found myself utterly astounded by the quality of the average post or comment. My faith in humanity and optimism for society took a severe knock when I discovered just how much hurtful, malicious, misinformed, illogical, unkind, and moronic posting goes on across the net.
I never knew people could be so insipid and vile!

Even on bluelight at times.
Occasionally I seriously consider if it is worth contributing to any forum, as one really must sift through a vast amount of drivel and nonsense before finding insight, wisdom, and humility.

I don't blame anyone for being uneducated, nor do i blame anyone for having a lack of cognitive intelligence.
However there is no excuse for obstinate, obnoxious, aggressive and unjust behaviour.

Of course I'm just referring to a few individuals, and perhaps i'm just over-sensitive and it doesn't bother anyone else. But nonetheless it bothers me.

I don't have a lot of time to sit in front of computers, though I try to make time for BL in the hope that one day, my age, experience, and knowledge may be of some use or interest to someone. someday.

So when (occasionally!) someone takes the time out to actually read my posts carefully, and reply with acknowledgment, respect, and commentary it makes it all worthwhile.

Sorry for the rant mods, i know it's a bit off topic, but it needed to be said.

Peace

DJ
