I understand completely what you mean by an MDMA/meth combo feeling super clean. The first time I rolled on real MDMA, it was in the form of a press. Blue butterflies (which I could not find on pill report), a purple transformer, and a unmarked white pill with blue speckles. When I took a blue butterfly along with the white pill, I started to notice effects after starting to walk about 80-90 minutes after swallowing them whole.
Instantly I felt a surge of energy. I had amazing visuals during the roll as well. However, I did not feel any real empathy or intense loved up feelings. I remember texting one of my friends, who was with the person that sold them to me, and I told her "I feel like the president". I was feeling super euphoric, energized, and completely unable to focus. I was trying to get a homework assignment done at the time with a sober friend, and pretty much the whole time I would go off on tangents and talk about random things, and said "OMG I'm so high" multiple times. It felt blissful and euphoric, but I wouldn't say there was much empathy. I felt friendly, but it seemed like I had felt more empathy on mephedrone at times. I felt chatty and outgoing, but I didn't really feel love for other people, just love for the feeling I was feeling at the time.
About a year later I got a bunch of molly which was tested and verified as MDMA. I only got to take about 100mg of this and it felt in a way similar to my first ever roll, with the same visuals as I remembered, but only slightly there. The visuals were not nearly as trippy as when I was rolling off the pills. I also felt sleepy this time and didn't have as much energy. This makes me pretty sure the pills had a low dose of meth in them. I'm not sure the dosage, but I would guess that it was a pretty low dose since it didn't overpower the MDMA. Also, the pills lasted damn near 12 hours for full effects. I would say I definitely rolled hard for a good 9-10 hours after hitting the peak, then gradually came down. The pure MDMA lasted nowhere near as long.
I know that people like to talk about an MDMA/meth combo as if it was something awful, but I really believe that it adds to the effects greatly. It definitely cuts down on the empathy, but it really takes the euphoria to a whole other level. It even adds to the magic and visuals as well. I'm pretty sure the key is keep the meth at a low dose, as to not overpower the MDMA but instead to synergize with it. I've never had meth by itself but I have had amphetamines before. Amphetamines to me seem a bit dirty to me, and I definitely don't think it would go well with MDMA. From what I've read meth is a lot cleaner buzz than amphetamines, more of a mind high and euphoriant than strictly a stimulant.
The problem is the bad reputation that meth has, and this is most likely the reason this combo isn't more popular. Amphetamines definitely feel like a drug, but I have heard that meth makes you feel sober. I've never been able to get those amazing effects I had from the first roll with MDMA since. This has led me to the conclusion that the best and most euphoric rolls I have ever had were actually "meth-bombs". I didn't really miss the lack of empathy because I just felt so amazing, like the most blissful and perfect feeling ever. When I got home I just laid in my bed rubbing my blanket and rolling around in ecstasy with the most supreme feelings ever.
