Hi! Sorry to bump up this thread again, but I also have this problem so I just though I'd let you all know.
By the way, don't worry too much about the screen name, I just made it to post on this topic. I don't actually have severe lower back pain, it's more like a dormant sore back that only bothers me when I've been standing for a long period of time or trying to sleep (Never had this issue before). I just really thought that the name was funny hahaha.
So it all started for me on New Years (almost 4 weeks ago) when I ended up dropping 3 pills at separate times bout 2 hour intervals. After reading what the rest of you all wrote, I agree and do suspect that it may have been from dropping pills that had too much speed in them, or were complete speed pills alltogether because the roll was about a 6/10, and I just felt really cracked out the whole night.
The next few days I didn't have much pain, back just felt a bit off, then I went to work out about 5 days afterward and the next day my lower back felt like hell (In retrospect, I realize that this may have been the stupidest idea ever, but you also have to realize that my back didn't even hurt that much, it was like a 1/10 on the pain scale, like just barely noticeable). The muscles felt like they were blown apart and hurt more than anytime I could ever remember in my entire life except when I got hit on the back with a bat as a kid (I just remembered that now! haha).
I have not rolled again since that day, but I still have problems with my back. I feel like I may have sprained a disc so I think I will try to check it out with a doctor when I can.
So my hypothesis: Lower back pain in the muscles/lower spine area was possibly caused by taking speedy pills which caused my back muscles to spasm uncontrollably which caused a lot of strain on my back muscles/spine and possibly sprained/twisted one of my lower discs so I will probably see a chiropractor/doctor about it if it does not go away in another 2 weeks or so.
I've been told in the past that damage to your discs is near-irreparable and all doctors can do is really just try to give temp treatments to the area. If this is true, I will be quite disappointed and I am not even sure if I will ever roll again. To be honest, I consider e a near-harmless drug when clean, but the thought of taking dirty pills even after I checked and thought they were clean i.e. dirty pills using clean labels, that thought really scares me away from trying e ever again.
I really do hope that this pain is fixable, I will try to keep you all updated on this. Btw, I was lead here by yahoo answers found via google search.
Cheers and much love to you all!
