Just a small report because something occurred to me.
There was a thread in Ecstasy discussion about "motormouth" syndrome. Well, the Girlfriend and I get that sometimes. And, of course, we end up trying to talk on top of each other all the time. We happened across quite an interesting solution. One night, at home, rolling pretty damn hard, we got into a motormouth trainwreck and I came up with an idea: I wasn't permitted to talk but instead sat at the laptop and typed into a blank email while she talked (I type quite fast). This was a stroke of genius, or it seemed at the time. We could both communicate and get out our thoughts (which were prone to vanish otherwise in a forgotten haze of lost time) at the same time without interruption. It's also an amazing experience to try to force yourself NOT to talk on E, but just type everything that comes to mind.
Extra bonus: Reading one half of the "conversation" the day after. Quite comic.
