I have to take fluoxetine (think that's how you spell it) for my anxiety & I do mdma every couple of months, I've only been on fluoxetine for a couple of weeks & I am planning todo mdma soon. I'm not very clued up about mdma and it's long term effects other than the basics. I take crystal mdma not pills. I just wondered if anyone can shed any light if its okay to take both & if not what are the risks/effects if I do? Thank you?

Well, considering Fluoxetine is an SSRI antidepressant and not an anxiolytic, it will most likely destroy all chances you have at rolling for as long as youre taking it.

Unfortunately, the MDMA experience will be significantly diminished if you're on SSRI's. This is because they bind to the same site in the brain as the MDMA does. So basically the MDMA struggles to bind to your serotonin sites thereby releasing less serotonin.

The risks are not that high. Despite popular belief, the combination will not result in serotonin syndrome. There is always the risk that you will take more and more to chase the high because the MDMA isn't really working. Thus resulting in a large dose which can cause immediate, yet temporary, damage.

I find the prescription of SSRI's for anxiety to be absolutely ridiculous, especially prozac, much better and safer SSRI's have been developed, other than benzos, seroquel I find would be much better for anxiety.
Anyway yea as previously stated SSRI's make it very get to get anything out of a roll, it's pointless
