MDMA and Ritalin

I have been taking Ritalin (54mg daily as prescribed by a doctor) since I was 7 years old. I'm 19 now and still on the same dose of Ritalin.

Recently I tried Molly. I took 2 points and I was rolling balls. It was fantastic.

However, 2 days ago I did 2 points of Molly again (this time I did not take my Ritalin that day, I did last time) and I felt absolutely nothing. I took another 2 points the following day (without Ritalin) and felt nothing as well.

I was wondering how Molly interacts with Ritalin and since I've been on Ritalin for so long if I can't roll without it. Help please?

Generally speaking, reuptake inhibitors such as methylphenidate (ritalin, concerta) and cocaine, dull the effects of releasing agents such as MDMA and methamphetamine. It's somewhat possible that when you tried the MDMA without the methylphenidate some of it was active from the previous day. Especially if it was extended-release methylphenidate.

Another option is that when you dosed the second day, the 'magic' was gone. It's a common scenario when MDMA is consumed consecutively. Take a break from MDMA, and try to it again a month or maybe 2 later. That's the only way to preserve the 'magic'.

Also, watch out for the slight possibility of serotonin syndrome when MDMA and methylphenidate are co-ingested.

That would make perfect sense BUT the first time I rolled I DID take my Ritalin that morning. The second time, I didnt. That's the part I don't understand.

I completely understand what you are saying. That's why it doesn't make sense to me.
