Has anybody ever used MDMA for psychotherapeutic purposes, such as meditation? I'm testing some stuff tonight and I'd like to hear some stories about meditation under the influence of MDMA, and any advice about meditation techniques if anybody has any. Thankyou.

Avoid Caffeine completely for a couple of days before taking the mdma.
You should only need a low dose for this purpose. Say 80mg. possibly 90mg but it depends on how good your mdma is.
Interesting , ive never heard of meditation on mdma.

I have in the past recited the Diamond Sutra while coming up. You go to a different sort of place. You might try putting some meditative/new age type music on too.

Thanks mate. I'll check it out. I was planning on meditating on my MDMA earlier this week but it turns out the dose is a little too high for meditation purposes..

I meditate whenever I roll for at least half an hour. I find it makes it a lot easier to meditate. It's interesting.

interesting...I would have expected the oposite to be true. I have never tried meditating sober or otherwise but I figured MDMA would prevent the concentration needed to get into a deep meditative state.

^ I've found it to be really hit or miss. In fact, the only time I've gotten into a good meditative state, a tiny bit of amp happened to be the pills. The other times I've taken clean pills, I was put too far on the spectrum of "ohmygod i'm rolling balls" to even think about sitting still.

However, I think the right setting with the right dose could be conducive to meditation.

I just cannot seem to focus on MDMA....I just keep moving from one thing to another....Until it comes to conversation with someone, that seems to be the MDMA "mediation". That and music. To actually meditate with my eyes closed yogi style (which I do sober) I would prefer ingesting mushrooms personally.

One roll I spent the entire time meditating, doing a few different techniques.
I found physically, it was much easier to sit for a longer period of time in regards to the pain of sitting in one pose, though at the peak its hard not to react to the overwhelming surge of ecstasy. I found Mirror Meditation to be particularly therapeutic, this is where you sit in front of a mirror and just stare at yourself. It can normally be quite difficult because lots of "negative" self-beliefs come up, but while rolling its like one "negative" thought comes, then was swamped by like 30 "positive" ones.
I also found while just sitting, that I it was an excellent opportunity to try to do some healing, as I felt safe and joyous, so basically what I would do is just sit and when I had any feelings of weakness I would take the opposite perspective of it. For example, I realized how my "laziness" was incentive in me becoming an passionate intellectual.
I am excited for the next time, to try to "just sit" and not react, especially to the overwhelming peak. Good luck with the experiments
