Hey there! First time poster here. :)

I was going to be taking MDMA for the first time to celebrate my birthday, which is in 3 days, with a friend who has used it on various occasions. We have 4 capsules of M. I was super excited until just tonight I discovered that MDMA and SSRIs do not mix :! :p. I have been taking fluvoxamine for depression and anxiety for 2 years and am currently on 300mg. I know the odds that I'll feel anything from the M are very slim, but I was wondering if there's anything I can do to increase my chances of rolling on it (e.g stopping meds before taking it, taking higher doses, railing it, fasting, smoking/not smoking, smoking weed, drinking etc..:?) ?
As I mentioned I am new to this and really want to have a good time on it. I am aware of the dangers of taking MDMA along with SSRIs and depression, but would still like to try it.

Any advice is appreciated!
Thanks :)

SSRIs and MDMA can cause a possibly fatal condition called Serotonin Syndrome if they're in your system at the same time...

You're gonna need to wait at least 2 weeks after your last SSRI dose to even try to roll.... the longer the better. And don't just stop taking your meds cold turkey... you can go into bad withdrawals like that. You're gonna need to taper down first.

You might not even feel anything anyways.. SSRIs cause irreversible serotonin downregulation over time :(

No, believe me hun, you will not feel a god damn thinggg... I'm telling you this from experience (I was briefly on an SSRI and I stupidly did copious amounts of MDMA, trying so hard to get high and I didn't feel a THING, it was a waste of money) and yes, it's also potentially dangerous. If you really feel the need to try it anyways, if after your initial dosage, you feel nothing or barely anything, please don't keep taking more trying to make it work. It wont, and its not worth possibly dying over. If you struggle with depression, MDMA is probably not a good choice of drug for you at this time. I know how frustrating that it to hear... much love and happy birthday!
