MDMA after rhinoplasty?

Does anyone have any experience/thoughts on taking ecstasy (orally) after rhinoplasty? I'm just about 3 months (11 wks) post op and not on any meds.

Aside from the risk of potentially rage dancing a little too hard that I may accidentally hit my nose, would there be any reasons MDMA itself would cause swelling and/or structural damage at this point? What about it's affect on the nerves (jaw clenching and the "thizz face")? To put it light and simple, is my nose going to be permanently droopy from clenching?

I'm sorry if this has been discussed before, but I promise I did my due diligence and searched for the particular question I'm looking for an answer to.

The "downtime" ( in your case, when you are "okay" to use drugs ) following rhinoplasty is variable depending on what rhinoplasty techniques are used such as whether the surgery was performed open or closed, whether any tip work was performed, and whether the nasal bones were broken (osteotomies). Patients who undergo open rhinoplasty typically have more edema (swelling) that persists longer compared to patients in whom closed rhinoplasty techniques were used. If the nose was surgically broken by performing osteotomies then there is usually more swelling and bruising.

Patients are generally encouraged to take a week of from work or school. After two weeks, most patients can gradually return to strenuous activities such as, in your case, using drugs. So yes, I would say you are fine to take the MDMA oral. ( And yes just don't get to zooted and fuck your nose up )

I too think you are able to take MDMA. One of my friends had rhinoplasty from Rhinoplasty Centre in Toronto and his surgeon asked him to quit drinking and smoking 2 weeks prior to surgery. I had seen him drinking 5 weeks post op but you should be careful. Overdose may affect your nose.

Ask your doctor if being really active is ok after 3 months. Be like, what about skydiving? Extreme rock climbing?

If your nose is healing okay the main thing to avoid is smoking (don't want to inflame the nasal passages) If you're having a hard time breathing through your nose I would wait a while longer however, being able to breath through your nose during sleep (rather than snore through your mouth) is important for restorative sleep. Of course don't get hit on your nose, it could do a lot of damage so a crowded rave is not the best idea until a couple more months
