This is my first post on trip reports as most of my trips of any kind can be considered "textbook." The following account, however is what I can recollect of what was the most "wrong" experience I have had on any chemical or combination of chemicals ever. Any feedback on the hows and whys of this trip would be taken gladly, and advice as to wheter I should seek any medical attention would also be appreciated. If you can't be bothered reading the whole story, I'll highlight where you should start with a line of bold or something. Now, onto the story.
Firstly, I'll give a quick background, I've used MDMA about 4 times, MDA about once or twice, weed and nitrous countless times. I've got very stable mind, and no health concerns. I preloaded at 8pm with 300mg of elemental Magnesium, 3.5g of Glutamine, 2g of L-tyrosine, 1.5g of DLPA, 1g of Vit C and a Multivit all washed down with apple juice.
This trip first began at about 12:30pm-1am at a certain event. There has been a grave paranoia around our area of Australia of sniffer dogs being used at events, so I hid my three pills, 2 strong MDMA tablets and 1 MDA tablet in a baggie of curry powder wrapped up tightly then immersed in a baggie of vinegar. It was my impression at the time that the baggie containing the pills was watertight. Apparently it wasn't.
When I came to opening the baggie containing the pills, what was present was a mush that had 2 soggy looking pills, which were the MDA and MDMA. Due to confusion at the time, I had assumed that I had sold one of the pills to a friend, so I consumed the mushy curry powder and the MDA pill. As I left the toilet where I had eated the MDA pill and licked the baggie, I realied that I HADN'T sold the other pill and it must've dissolved in the baggie.
I had inadvertantly double dumped. 2 strong pills, one MDA and one MDMA, this was not good, as I am a lightweight when it comes to drugs, and I haven't ever taken that large amount of any MDXX compound.
I was able to find some Bluelighters who were able to direct me to the puddle of the more mashed Bluelighters right near the first aid tent. At this point, my body was very shaky, my pulse was pounding, I was sweating profusley and there were visual trails to the point of almost complete blurriness of vision, along with the blurriness of vision, the music that was playing turned into a constant block of noise, and my voice sounded disembodied. Inside I was calm, but it was very hard to think clearly or carry on a conversation without forgetting what was said or being distracted by "pretty lights."
After about an hour of this, I was able to have enough control of my body to return to the dancefloor and carry on a pretty intense, but nondescript trip. I.E I loved every moment of it, danced, met fantastic people, but it was as I said before a "textbook" experience.
At 5 to 5:30am, I decided (against my better judgement) to consume what was left of the soggy MDMA pill I had in my baggie. I mention this, because I think it has some impact on what happened in the next few hours. Drug count 1 MDA, 2 MDMA.
We arrived at the designated crash pad, and I was still feeling the effects of the last pill quite strongly, almost a "peak" but not as intense, all ready to crash, when quite a large spliff (joint) was passed around from about 5 or 6 people, me included. We went inside and then nitrous was passed around. It was also commented before the nitrous was taken but after the spliff, that no one who had preloaded the vitamins I mentioned at the top were feeling "sketchy" or "brain raped"
I was able to observe before I took a hit that everyone who came to the event with us and who took some nitrous were much more than usually removed from reality than is exepected with just nitrous or nitrous and weed. I was experiencing some slight visuals reminiscent of my last MDA experience, but with slighter intensity possibly due to the weed that was smoked earlier.
Due to an intense psycadelic experience with LSD a week before, there was some point in these proceedings before I had a hit of nitrous that my visuals slid into an acid flashback, and I was staring at my hands for about 10 minutes before my first hit. At this point, I there was a subtle feeling of "stonieness" but the amphetamine qualities of the MDMA pill were still very prominent, along with slightly more insense visuals.
From this on in, this trip report has been scraped together from what people saw, and what I remembered. This also is the point where I was most attention taken to.
I took my first hit of nitrous sitting down, and just after I inhaled I felt myself falling back and hitting the ground. I "woke" up, feeling that same fuzziness of body that I feel in the few times I've ever fainted in my life. I then spent a long time staring at the ceiling, musing at how it looked. I think I was still aware of myself and my surroundings at this point.
When I took the second hit, things got very strange. I was experiencing a complete loss of short term memory, and I was talking out loud when I thought I was thinking and thinking when I was talking out loud. I was unable to distinguish between either. When I did talk out loud, apparently my speech was very disjointed, even though I though I was coherent. At this point I discovered that what I percieved to be happening and what was happening very different things. I knew that I was having short term amnesia, and having difficulty thinking clearly. Also, if I really concentrated, I was able to communicate one idea almost coherently. The amnesia also affected my identity and the knowledge of where I was. I knew that I was in a familar place, with familar people, but I was unable to put names to faces, or identify where I was and more importantly, WHO I was.
Inside a deep recess of my mind, I was very calm as I knew it was just the chemicals and lack of sleep playing havok with my mind, so I took myself to a quiet room, layed down on the bed, and waited for the effects of all the drugs to wear off.
As I lay on the bed and stared at the wall, my mind started to think random jumbles of thoughts, with free association going rife within my mind. Also I begain to lose any contact with my body. For example, I saw my finger, moved it, but it did not register that it was MY finger. When I didn't move, I felt like I wasn't in my body. Apparently, I was grinding my jaw or biting quite hard because when I recovered my jaw was very saw, and there were ulcers all around my mouth and tounge.
I attempted to ground myself by saying my full name. I.e "My name is XXXXX XXXXX XXXXX" but they did not register even as I said them. It is my hypothesis that the chemicals were directly playing havok with the connection between linguistic centers and memory. Along with these, the hallucinations were a bit more prominent. Passing cars would turn into techno music, and a tree outside looked like it was full of crows. There were also slight audiotory hallucinations of people saying slightly "bad" things about me, but they did not affect me at all as I knew that I was tripping. All through this time, I still had the thought/speech "thing" (for want of a better word) where I couldn't tell if I was talking or thinking. These were much more intense whenever my short term memory "wiped" I.E when I realised that I HAD forgotten something.
Some point into this experience, I left the bedroom to go the the bathroom to pee or something. I was able to do this, but when I looked in the mirror, I saw my face, but it took a short while to realise who it was. I also noticed that my eyes looked like no one was there. They were just 2 black pools.
I finished my business and went back to bed. After that, I have no memory of what happened until I "woke" up. From what I've asked around, I apparently went to sleep, but it was not a restful one for me.
It is now a few days after the trip and I am feeling completely normal, I have not had any reoccurances, and I have been carrying on with my usual life.
I'd also like to point out that at not time was I agitated, disturbed or in what I'd call a "bad trip" my mind was calm at every second of the whole experience.
I'd really like to get some feedback on exactly what happened, if there's a medical term for it, and the such.
I apologise for the length of this report, but this is what happens when I write without any notes. Sorry.
