I went out to Hash Bash in Ann Arbor, MI with my friend and she surprisingly had some MDA (and acid). I had been wanting to find MDA again for a while.
We took some acid when we got there (one hit each) and after an hour weren't sure if it was real (but no taste, so didn't seem to be a research chem) so we took another one each. They eventually fully kicked in and I was tripping pretty good.. felt like a 150ug-ish trip which was decent.
But shit didn't start to get real until we took some MDA. It was in small capsules we don't know the dose but I was expecting it to be weak... since most of the time when you get MDxx from drug dealers its usually on the weak side or some other research chemical altogether.
When that MDA kicked in about the time we peaked on LSD i was FLOORED! I had to sit down for a bit because of the intensity and that MDA had my heart pounding hard. Beautiful fractals and everything was rainbow colored. Extreme color enhancement and extreme psychedelia everywhere. We spent a lot of time just walking around, watching people speak about weed or playing music and hanging out.
When I was peaking while walking around we came across this group chanting a mantra non stop with drums and other instruments. Tripping balls coming up to this group while they hand you cards like this that say "Hare Krsna Hare Krsna Krsna Krsna Hare Hare Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare" saying "here, i have it memorized"
The way those words look and the other signs they held up with it written in handwriting looked trippy as fuck, reminded me of sanskrit or something. What I experienced next I still am trying to figure out how to describe...
As I got closer in to the center (where people were singing it with drums etc) I started to see some web thing connecting everybody. It started to seem like there was a cosmic joke going on where part of each person knew it was a joke and was giggling about it all in perfect sync. The closer I got to the drums the more I started to get inside of the web. It was like all of my movements started to be in sync with whatever this thing was and it was like everyone else was tripping too and playing some kind of mental game. I thought I was "getting" the secret. There was some kind of mental thing or line at which a person switches from normally operating in a paranoid way to another side which was synchronized, possibly related to all that love shit eastern religions usually go on about. Or something like that. Maybe I was perceiving all of our minds more connected because that is exactly what was going on the closer you got to the drums, because everyone is paying attention to it and so acting less independently.
Just tripping hard, I guess. Who knows. I did google that group when I got home and found some results that suggested people thought it was some kind of cult. Interesting, whatever it was.
I also sat watching some girl doing some kind of body energy work on someone. I don't know anything about it and would usually assume such things are bullshit, but while tripping I could see some type of energy moving around. MDA is pretty hallucinatory so nothing I see is much of a surprise since i've had it before. I am still open minded to things that seem impossible though, maybe I should try getting some energy work done on me before I decide if its probably bullshit or not.
The rest of the day was spent walking around, and the rainbow effect on my vision seemed to get more intense for the later half of the MDA. Sometimes everything looked rainbow colored, even my hands. Tie Dye shirts looked ridiculously intense, the colors so bright it looked fake or dream like. Sometimes it was hard to tell if something was an actual color or hallucination. Very pretty scenery.
When it came time to leave, everyone was laying on the horns because traffic wasn't moving and everyone was doing what other people were doing. Non stop continuous horn honking. We blasted a deadmau5 song and got everyone to start honking to the beats in sync which was a pretty cool end to the day. On the way home the moon looked CRAZY big, it looked like a big fireball in the sky with faces on it looking in as if it was a portal to another dimension. We could not figure out if it was actually the moon or some other object.
It was a long slow comedown I still felt a rolly feeling in my body 8 hours or more after we took the MDA. Still a little trippy from both. Woke up today feeling more tired but not too bad. MDA is pretty good mixed with LSD... it was a bit hard on my body though!
