MCT oil conversion of drugs

Sort of a general chemistry related question: I was wondering if simply adding a freebase chemical to a mixture of caprylic and capric acid(MCT oil) would yeild a more lipid soluble form of the chemical?

My main curiousity is increasing the bioavailability of gabapentin, DXM freebase and DMT/Beta-carbolines. I want to know if there is an actual chemical conversion or if I'll just end up with the freebase suspended in the oil.

You would make lipid salts which would be fairly soapy, I'd guess. (If you used the free carboxylic acids.)

MCT oil is just a more polar veg. oil. if it is in the tri/diacylglycerol form. You'd want the free fatty acids because they would form salts.

I don't think there would be any actual conversion though. It wouldn't change too much because oral admin. usually converts the compounds to HCl in the stomach before freebasing them in the small intestine with bicarbonate.
