just going to bring this post back to life as 1 year down the line i am still feeling pretty much the same.. and i see this problem with other people becoming more and more apparent.

I mean should i consider medicain? or something? NOT thinking about it really isnt the answer coz its impossible not to

Hi purple, sorry to hear you're still struggling all these months later. It sounds like you should definitely consider taking the next step and seeking professional help. The first thing to do is to book an appointment with your regular doctor and explain to them exactly what you've told us here, and how long its been going on for. They might refer you on to a psych specialist or they might try you some medication first. Different doctors have different treatment methods. If your doctor just wants to try you on a medication first, I think it will be really important for you to either ask them for a referral to a counsellor or seek out some counselling yourself. This has been going on for a while now so you will probably have a lot of stuff to debrief/discuss.

Does this sound like a plan you could consider? Do you have any concerns or specific questions?

I've had experiences like this that lasted a long ass time. I don't think its actually the drug thats doing this to you at this point. I think its the fear or anxiety that it triggered way back when. Actually, when coming off weed after smoking everyday for like 6 years, I had serious anxiety like this for a long time.

Should i consider Zoloft as an option? Iv heard from some people that you have to take it for long periods of time and keep taking it for it to have effect. Others have said that once you start to feel better (say after a month or two) that you can come off it completely and feel 100% normal.

Any one got any input on the matter please?
