Mass Shootings and Gun Debate 2018 Thread

The president suggesting due process be violated is harmless is it? I'd say it does great harm to public confidence in their leadership.

Dudes from the 50s saw their country turning into a communist shit hole. Now people sympathize with it.

It's pretty disgusting. And the thing is you guys probably don't even like ur government that much
 
Dude in the 50s no one thought the USA was turning into a Communist hell hole. People were terrified of Russia because of the cold war, and Russia was Communist.

You have to admit that calling Trump a communist is a bit of a stretch.
 
Can you not see the irony of your comment? For the past year we've witnessed the roaring resurgence of McCarthyism, to the point that politicians in the House are accusing each other of "doing the bidding of Vladimir Putin" =D

Yes I sound like a dictator and would think some kind of action is better than waffle and indecision as clearly there is no one capable of looking at the big picture of the gun problem in America as most don't think therefore one.


Since there is no gun problem, then it won't matter to anybody should they all disappear magically or by force or if a giant magnet swoops overhead and steals them.


So the only guns left are in the hands of the military and some other licensed and known rural people who need to kill animals and the law enforcement.


Assume a coup has happened. Just pretend. By the army as it is.

I predict that there will be a few people upset they can't have one. Oh well.


There won't be any need to have one to protect against bad guy with guns.


Cops will kill less people as the old "he pulled a weapon and it turned out to be a potato's excuse wouldn't fly,


No one would give a shit about the NRA ?

No mass shootings


Maybe there would be some improvement in school shootings.



I'm pretty sure you would cope quite well.

Zephyr we live on the Mexico border.

We need guns. US criminals and Mexican cartels will ALWAYS have them.

I don’t know what neighborhood you live in, but it must be nice. Not everyone lives in the nicest neighborhoods undisturbed by cartels and drug violence.
 
we live in australia. nobody has guns. i live in a pretty rough neighbourhood - all sorts of crazy shit, but rarely does anyone get shot.

Or just how bluntly incompetent the government is here?

The thousands of FEMA camps built around us?
