yeah the politicians have nothing to do with it.....

....the ones who have prevented the very "solutions" everyone has been coming up with for DECADES

I swear man, some Americans are so obsessed with gun freedom they will cancel out and ignore all logic beyond reason

It's ridiculous...

Their so scared someone will take away their guns they'll say or do anything before admitting any change needs to happen

it's also idiotic to think the NRA doesn't have some fraction of blame for this situation, do you realize how many politicians are on their payroll?

I am not anti-gun per se, but such discussion requires critical thinking.... ignorance is indeed bliss and a bit ironic how you used that word.

Most gun owners under 50 years old don't even like the current NRA from my experience

Gun control WILL help! But it's not the only problem that needs addressing. This is a huge, multifaceted problem that needs a multifaceted approach.

Yeah, I think if we could offer teens access to trade schools for free that teach physical skills where they can then open businesses, without having to accumulate financial debt from student loans, that would make a difference. Would also create higher birthrates imo, since they'd be financially able to support a family at an earlier age. Basically keep them busy during the riskier years (under 25 imo) and once they have a career and family they'll be much more stable

I think the issue in the U.S. is much more socially related than due to guns simply existing

So then what’s the solution aside from more strict background checks ? Cause getting rid of rifles won’t stop the problem people will use pistols then what get rid of pistols ? It’s easy to see how they knock one thing off at a time

we could start with a bunch of mental health issues that republicans have been overwhelmingly been voting no on for decades

if it's a mental health issue why does your side vote no every time on trying to improve such issues?c

that's the issue, you think politically that I want to take your guns, that I'm your enemy politically.... in reality I just want some fucking better mental health care
