Opioids Marquis test on 512 Mallinckrodt oxycodone

I bought a marquis to test mostly MDMA but wanted to have fun with some of the stuff I had lying around. Well, I can't seem to get the 512 to get a reaction what so ever. At best I'll get enough powder to dilute the color into a slight peach color but that's only if there's alot of pill. I've busted an entire pill down just to see a reaction from some part of it incase it was all in the center for some...reason. I've looked at other threads about this but can't seem to get a good answer so I was hoping Bluelight would help solve this one.

The biggest reason why I'm testing it is because I think they're bunk. I tried 1 and it felt about as strong as if I did 10-12mg (the body buzz effect) but without any uplifting effects (euphoria and ect) and had more of a hint of anxiety. It didn't feel much like an opiate head wise either sooo it basically feels like it mimics the effects of an opiate without providing anything I'm looking for from one.

Marquis Reagent (E: a quick and simple test) is more susceptible to ‘going off’. The testers’ quality/suitability can be verified by checking its reaction with aspirin. Scrape a small amount of aspirin, much like a test with a ‘pill’, and add a drop of reagent. The reaction generated should be a bright red/cherry colour developing within about 5 to 10 seconds (a slow reaction). A reaction too much slower than this indicates that the reagent has lost its activity. In addition, check the colour of the solution coming out of the bottle. It should be clear and colourless. Over time, the reagent will develop a light brown colour. Once the reagent has become a colour similar to a light ‘beer’ shade, it is near the end of its useful life.

It sounds like your reagent has gone bad, it should have reacted with the paracetamol in the pill as well. Do a 'sanity check' with an aspirin pill and if it does not change as above, you need to buy or prepare more reagent.

Ever heard of expectation effects, and/or set and setting? Opioids aren't always reliable at inducing euphoria, especially if you are a habitual user or you use them in the same setting all the time. Like all drugs, over time, opioids stop being "fun" and you either have to increase your dose or find other things to do... (pref. not more drugs!)

Also, as far as I know there are no opioids that are non-euphoric - that was one of the mythical beasts that chemists of the 1900s were looking for. It is more likely instead that the problem is with the person taking the opioids.

aren't the 512 oxycodone tablets just percocets?
as in 5mg/325mg APAP pills?
cause last i knew 512 were 5mg percocets, so obviously it wouldn't feel like any more than 5mg if you only take one...?

I always try to go into a drug experience open minded. Whether psychs buds fades benzos everybody is different and will get a lil different high.
If there from a pharmacy there most likely legit. A fake press would make a lot more if there were 30s instead of 5mg.

As for faking them, yes, you would think 30s would make more but when you get them from an online vendor and not prescription and have to buy quantities of 100 (which equal noprices per 5mg which is almost better than nopricesper 5mg for roxis). I mean, you can tell they were professionally pressed and are sized the exact mm and would be impossible to call it a fake unless I could see one from a pharmacy. Plus, after countless reviews saying what they get are legit and no complaints without actual proof I wouldn't call them fake or try to start shit against the vendor. Eitherway, the effects aren't the same because 5mg would leave me just wanting more and when I feel this it's such a foreign feeling I wouldn't dare take 10mg like I would of any real oxy. It's definitely something different but oh well . Plus, I feel if I were to take 10mg I'd be completely mind fucked with it's effects. I could see myself maybe taking 7mg but even that'd probably be really strong and uncomfortable, especially without any of the feel good effects.

Back on topic: Has anyone heard of dancesafe selling expiring reagents? I'm about to go and test a bunch of different things for a reaction but just thought I'd ask.
