Marquis chemical reaction test

Hey,

Got onto some what is suppose to be MDMA powder. Did a marquis chemical reaction and it sizzled at the start, then went a greyish colour, then finally a light yellow. The label says it is suppose to be DXM, even though the dealer swears that it is good stuff and that we got the wrong tester kit, and should have got Mandelin kit. He says that the DXM and MDXX are related somewhat, and that this kit wont be able to tell the difference.

What do you guys think?

It also smoked a bit, and the powder was a whitish colour.

If you bought that shit you got ripped off. the marquis will trun black in the presents of MDxx. DXM is nothing like MDxx and IMO is one of the worst experinces on the face of the planet especially if you are expecting it to be anything like MDxx.

Find another dealer, if the guy says that DXM is like MDxx then he is either too stupid to share this earth with civilized people and will shortly be weeded out by natual selection or he is just trying pawn shit off as MDMA to make buck.
 
Fair enough. Better than some of the shit we have been having. I think he said that DXM and MDxx are in the same family or some shiit.

Lots of people talking about mephedrone around the place - loads love it, loads hate it. Have a read through this thread and make your own mind up.

If your doing it dont take too much as this seems to be the trigger for the negative side effects (bombing it seems to be a lot easier on the system).
 
yep, you have dxm. blow that dealer off..

stick by your test kit. my dealer recently tried a similar act on me, even borrowing my test kit and telling me it went black, when there is multiple proof of the same pills being pipes. they just want to sell their crap.
 
Mephedrone might be worth buying, but definitely not at MDMA prices. DXM and MDMA aren't similar in any way whatsoever, chemically or pharmacologically.
 
Actually, this should be in Pill Testing Q&A, so I am moving you once again.

As everyone else has said, your dealer is full of shit. If you get an initial grey reaction in combination with smoke, this is a sign of DXM. MDxx will turn an immediate dark purple/black color, not a murky grey/yellow. Thank goodness you have a testing kit! :)
 
I see you posted this in one than more forum, so I am merging the threads together. Next time, only post ecstasy pill testing questions in the Pill Testing Q&A forum, they are not allowed in ED or PRD.

FYI from research about mephedrone, this is definately it. It's a weird high. But love it.
 
From what I have read about mephedrone, it was definately it. There was slight euporia, but was mainly a huge rush. Absolutely loved it. Found it very hard to not to do it the next day.
