Marijuana ‘Poisoning’ On The Rise Among Colorado Youngsters

Yeah, seems pretty simple to me, and it doesn't even have to be I.V. , before I became, unfortunately, a daily benzo user, who uses it responsibly though, I was given a couple miligrams of lorazepam at the hospital, once for a real bad weed induced panic attack and another time due to 5-meo-mipt making my heart rate go through the roof, all in pill form. IV valium must be real fun though, heh.

Rimonabant is a terrible idea; it's no better having all your cannabinoid receptors inactivated than being extra high on THC.

The best option is "treat supportively". slimvictor has the right sort of idea :)

I talked to some people who ran tests of rimonabant for appetite suppression and they said the main problem they had from it was dysphoria. Maybe that's managable when the goal is to reverse an OD in a hospital setting.

I wish I could be "poisoned" by cannabis.

N.b. This is a joke. People who accidentally consume any drug can have a terrible (or fatal) experience.
Even the good ol' weed. I have seen people who purposely ate a cookie or brownie and got more than they bargained for. They vomited and/or passed out, and complained of having a terrible experience. Taking too much of any drug can be very unfortunate. Children should not take any drugs, if at all possible.
My joke was based on the word "poisoning", which doesn't really apply to cannabis, and the fact that I cannot get cannabis where I live, despite my love of the drug. Please do not attempt to induce "cannabis poisoning" in yourself or others.
