MAOI + Cigarettes?

I was curious about the safety of taking a chemical which is also a MAOI such as 2-ct-7 while smoking cigarettes during the trip? I had read about an ahyuasca cerimony that went horribly wrong in canada where they included tobacco into the brew and a lady died of nicotine poisoning. Now, I know that in the ceremony they took the tobacco orally but would just smoking tobacco be dangerous while on an MAOI?

I don't think cigarettes are contraindicated on MAOIs. What I do know is orally administered nicotine can be tricky to dose because of its extreme potency.
