BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. -- A man arrested and stunned with a Taser gun after he allegedly refused to get out of his car during a traffic stop tried to pass off a bag of Ecstasy as flour for his pork chops, Boynton Beach police said.





Calvin Wallace, 49, was pulled over shortly before 1 a.m. in the 600 block of Northwest Second Street.

Police said Wallace was stunned with a Taser gun after he refused to get out of his rented 2008 Chrysler PT Cruiser. When officers searched the car, they found a plastic bag containing white powder, later determined to be Ecstasy, police said.

Wallace responded to officers by saying it was "flour for my pork chops," police said.

He was arrested on multiple charges, including drug trafficking and resisting arrest without violence.

How come the police were allowed to taser him whilst still inside his car?
 
Wow. All he had to do to get away was get out of the car when asked and say "I do not consent to any searches."

They probably thought he was trying to get a weapon if he refused to get out of his car, which is not too unreasonable.

While according to a piece of paper somewhere you can say, "I do not consent to a search", that doesn't mean police will abide by it. Average police take liberties with constitutional rights and privleges all the time- from denying you counsel, refusing to call for medical treatment, searching illegally, lying, etc.

What would you do if that cop tasered you after saying, "I do not consent to a search", and then files in his report/tells the judge that you were abusive/reaching for a weapon/etc?
 
How did he get trafficing charge, sounds more like possession charge to me, did they catch him selling or something and you can't be violent with 100,000 volts going in ya!
