MANILA, Philippines – A man beheaded his mother and then went on a drinking spree outside their house in Negros Occidental, police said Tuesday.

The suspect, identified as Jojie Aguirre, 38, was caught outside of their house in Barangay (village) 7, Moises Padilla town, after a neighbor alerted the police about the incident at around 6:07 a.m.

A police spot report said the headless body of the victim, identified as Nenita Aguirre, 70, was found lying at the open door of the kitchen. The severed head was found atop a small table in the living room, the report added.

Police also found a blood-stained 20-inch sugarcane bolo in the house as well as blood stains on the chair beside the small table. The suspect’s white t-shirt and short pants also had blood stains on them, police said.
The suspect reportedly has a history of alcohol addiction, police added.

I love your "Location" because it's so true.

I'd like to share with you, what in my opinion, is probably the best description of how and/or what it means to be seriously hooked, handcuffed, whipped to a physically and psychologically addictive substance. By chance, about a year ago, I saw/heard someone say all this and it really struck a cord with me and my past and present issues with opiate addiction.

It goes as follows:

Imagine that, for whatever reason, you are dropped off in the most remote, dry part of the Sahara Desert; alone, and without any supply of food or water...

Obviously, a slow and painful death due to dehydration would be your biggest concern.

Now; say you eventually collapse due to the unbearable heat of the desert, on top of the fact that you haven't had a drop of water in several hours...

You later regain consciousness only to find a stranger standing before you with an ice-cold bottle of water.

He places the bottle of water next to you and insists you promise not to touch it.

You ultimately agree, and he departs.

... Now what do you think is gonna be on your mind all day?

This is the exact state of an addict's mind.
 
Woww absolutely perfect^. I realized this mindset just the other day actually. Usually when i get my heroin i go somewhere right away and snort it.

But the other day i waited until i drove ALL THE WAY HOME ( was like 5min away) and i could just like feel this pull towards the heroin sitting right next to me. I could not think of anything else but the heroin. I drove home in silence just nervously rubbing my chin and all that thinking about when i can finally break out the heroin.

The pull was insane though man its like i was literally overtaken by an outside force.
 
Absolutely horrendous!!!! Wow!! Now if he would have been on some type of drug they would have made a bigger deal out of him being intoxicated on drugs. But since it was "only" alchohol no biggy right? Either way sober or intoxicated that's one sick fuck!!!

Pretty sad how this story is not causing any sort of mass hysteria on par with - the formerly legal - bath salts. It's almost like some evil entity has gagged this story from spreading. Oh what the hell, I must be going crazy.
 
It's pretty likely that it isn't causing mass histeria. Open your eyes mate, illegal highs are demonized and alcohol is permitted.
