Making weak weed strong?! [increasing thc concentration] (merged)

Can anyone help?
If you had some weak bush, and a lot of it, which was difficult to smoke; is there a way of treating it to extract any active ingredients? (I saw the forum about cleaning hash so I suppose I'm looking for the equivalent for low grade bush)

i've read something with carbon ice...the carbon atom make the cannabinol turn into thc and so weak weed in strong weed. do a search
 
turnin it into cannabis oil seems to b ur best bet, the process involves soaking the weed in extremley high percentage alcohol then extracting the oil, search on google or check out 420.com for more info
 
I had a friend who took my brothers weed and extrated the THC from the plant and added it to this other Pur THC that he bought. He then would dip the weed in it and let it dry up, then repeat the process. We called it Super Weed. 2 hits and I couldn't see straight.

I don't know if thats exactly how he did it but my brother saw him doing it and he and his friend shared it with me that night.
 
I find using weak bush to spin with hydro a very nice mix. Actually good bush mixed with good hydro is even better. But yeah, if i have weak bush I don't wanna smoke by itself, mix it with hydro instead of spin(tobacco) for a better high.

Think I'm gonna try to make cannabis olive oil - just chop it all up and let the oils dissolve into warm olive oil(takes about 4-5 hours apparently but hopefully worth it - all my old odds and sods are gonna go in).It'll keep for ages and it'll add an new kick to my curries.

I'll report back on results.

turning bad bud into good bud?

ne now of ne wayz to turn bad bud into good stuff...my friend told me once if it gets too dry try puttin it in the fridge for a while and it will become more moist....but ne wayz is there ways of turning bad weed into good weed

by adding moisture to weed it doesn't make it "good" if it was bad before...

if u want it a little moister just take a cotton ball, wet it, wrap it in alluminum foil, poke a few little holes in it, and put it in with the weed, wherever you're storing it...

if you wanna make it better aesthetically, you can use a cheap method: spray it with a bit of orange juice and put it in the fridge...the sugar should crystalize and it'll look like trichomes :D

but other than adding other stuff on top of the weed, you can't make it better
 
but it'll juss look like trichomes......so theres no way of making good bud outta bad bud...that sucks:X cuz i have this really shitty bud my friend gave to me and i think im juss gonna cook with it
 
There is a FAQ over at www.overgrow.com that covers oil hash.. Basically you take 97% Rubbing alcohol and soak finely chopped bud for a while then poor out and evaporate the alcohol.. you get a faily thick high grade oil that tastes like hash.

If it is just dry kind bud then just put a leaf of lettuce in with it for a while.
 
Honey oil.. got to use clean butane though.. not that Ronson stuff..

well gas - so its like a gas leak, dont use anything electronic and do it outside - then the risks are small
 
another way to make oil that has a higher thc content than the hashoil from when you soak the cut up leaf is to just drain iso alcohol over leaf or bud briefly, and then catch all the alcohol. repeat once and then just evaporate the alcohol away and you get this light brown honey oil. filter the alcohol before you evaporate through a coffee filter if you want it to have even less plant matter.
 
I turned a plant in to hash oil, was really easy.

Just get a PVC tube with a small hole in each end, fix it so the bottom hole is over something to collect the oil and un-evaporated butane.

Fill tube with green, sticks, leaves, everything, get a can of lighter gas (butane) push the nozzle in the top hole (this should be big enough to get the nozzle in but tight enough to start spraying the gas when you press down.

Empty the whole canister of gas through the tube, you will have yellowy coloured butane dripping from the bottom. When all the butane has evaporated you will be left with a layer of oil in your collection dish. Scrape it and smoke.

I shouldn't need to add do this outside as you will most likely blow yourself up if you do it indoors.

Make sure there are no sources of heat, sparks, naked flames etc.

It will take a long time to trickle through and evaporate so don't bring the collection bowl inside while there is still liquid butane evaporating, same with the tube.

Just leave it doing it's own thing for a few hours, it's not worth burning your face off.
