I've tried absinthe for the last two nights and loved it so much that I got through 200mLs of this incredibly potent drink, spacing the shots so I only ended up slightly drunk. This despite my lifelong hatred of alcohol. I'm going to save the rest for special occasions. I enjoy the relaxation and simpler headspace (GOD knows I need that) yet at the same time my thinking is fairly lucid and the world's a little sparkly and dreamlike.

Obviously, the claims of thujone making absinthe trippy are false, though the bottle does claim to contain an unusually high amount of the stuff. I actually think the mild hallucinogen-esque effects have more to do with the stimulating herbs in the drink mixed with the sedating effect of the extremely potent alcohol.

I wonder, what would be the best way to make this dreamy state stronger? Are there herbs I could take with the drink, like mugwort for example? Weed seems an obvious one, but I don't smoke weed. Some people say LSD actually has some hallucinogenic properties, that might be worth trying.

Actually I've heard absinthe makes an acid trip dreamier and more relaxed, which sounds perfect for taking a high dose in the desert.

Lol. Yeah, some may say that. That's because it's one of the most powerful psychedelic drugs known to man. I think it'll definitely boost the giddies. Worth a try for sure. But, if you buy mass manufactured absinthe, the thujone content is negligible. Only way to get true absinthe is to make it at home, and it works pretty well that way.

Lol what country do you live in? LSD is the most widely known hallucinogen, and so powerful that people are afraid of it. That was funny to me, no offense.
As for your main topic question, I think you need to either get some authentic absinthe, or mix your absinthe consumption with another hallucinogen like psilocybin, LSD, LSA, or THC. The first thing I think you should try is drinking more of it faster and allow yourself to become drunk from it. You will have more of the thujone in your system at once and have greater visual effects from the alcohol.

I doubt it is possible, though I don't know much about absinthe. However, even if I did, this question is not appropriate for this forum. Our goal here is harm reduction, not how to help you get higher off of a drug. Also, we generally don't cover Psychadelic drugs, there is another forum for that caters to them, you can click here to find the psychadellic drugs forum. So I will clos this.

I will say one thing, before mixing drugs please make sure that you do your proper research. For instance, mixing one CNS depressant (such as alchohol) with another CNS depressant, such as Xanax or other benzodiazepines, barbiturates, opiates, muscle relaxants etc... Is incredibly dangerous. Combining serotonergic drugs like MDMA with another Seretonergic substance (be it LSD or sertraline/SSRI & SNRI's) can also cause Seretonin Syndrome which could be fatal. So just be careful before you go about mixing substances.
