Making a vape without a lightbulb... ideas ?

Ok so tonight my mum will be out of town and my dad well , hes just gonna be sitting in his room watching tv or summin .

I smoke around once every 2 weeks . And today i recently got some boom Canada weed (as usual :P ) . and of course i want to smoke this weed .

But the problem is i have to stay in the house and yeah smoke inside . ( i have a reason for this)

And ive used the good old fashioned lightbulb vapourizer for this , but got a bit tired of it and was wondering are there any other ways to make a simple quick and effective vape ?

I wassss thinking to get a piece of foil , and shape it into a ball kinda shape , then keep a hole to put a straw in it . Put the weed in the foil ball and light it from underneath ? would this work ?

Have you ever made an apple pipe? Or a pop-can pipe?

Be careful with using pieces of glass other than light-bulbs in trying to make a vape. If it's not meant to be near heat it will probably burst into a million little pieces if you try to light it.

Your foil idea should work, but I always thought the can pipe is the best thing to use.
Just make sure you leave the can near the window and blow all your smoke out. The can is a giant chamber of smoke so it needs to be wafting out the window the whole time.

Actually I think an apple pipe is the best idea.

Another idea is buying a good vape!

well i forgot to add , there cant be a smokey smell from a pipe , apple bong etc .

Believe me i thought of that , but i live in a non smoking household , soooo a vape is the only way to do it , as the smell from that isnt recognisable
 
Ah well you see I had the same problem of no smoking in the house growing up, but I still got away with smoking at night pretty much every day. Just make sure they are definitely not up and roaming around the house and going to randomly walk into your room. Plus towel along the door and window open with a fan on if possible.
You can't let them smell the vape smell anyway as that's gonna cause unwanted attention. So I figured it wouldn't make much difference.

Oh yeah and I also had a spoof (paper towel roll with dryer sheets rubber banded around one end) that almost totally gets rid of smell.
I later learned that it's not very healthy for you, who knew?

The light-bulb is your best bet due to the tempered glass factor IMO.
 
Try this, if you have a small torch or something that would be better, but if you use a metal pipe, find some way to extend the mouthpiece so you dont burn yourself, and stuff your herbals into the chamber or something f the sort, and hold the lighter to the outside of the pipe and slowly heat the buds allowing good air flow until you get a good taste, cap and cool, repeat
Should work for you, tinfoil will burn and is also bad for you, much like dryer sheets.
 
foil tastes nasty and is terrible for you. stay far away.
i have perfected a technique for smoking with no smell.
1 get bowl and fill it with enough for exactly one hit
2 smoke it
3 as soon as youre done inhaling, put finger over top of bowl and cover it in case of lit weed goes out causing smoke.
4 hold in as long as possible (less healthy but you absorb almost all of the smoke)
5 find a dense item of clothing/ cloth/rag (flannel shirt works best) put it tightly around your mouth
6 blow it out

been at this for years, never failed me once
 
How about my foil idea ? Do u think it would work?

I dont care about toxic fumes . Not going to do it often
 
in theory yes.... it will work, but when i had to hide it, i bought my first pipe it was a good ole fasion wood pipe half the size of a pack of cigirettes , and when i bought it i made sure it was very easy to hide/conseal and very small, and i always hid it somewhere rediculous, but it was easy to acces. and i would pack my bowl, and go to the nearest window in my room and open it and smoke, near it on most nights a gentle breeze will carry the smoke right out easily and you just exhail out the window and your good............. you can allways try that

and BTW still have my FIRST EVER PIPE(was wooden), still hits good after 5 years of constant abuse :) and still useing it
 
Hi mate, reading your post reminds me of when I was a bit younger!

I think you'll have a very hard time making a smoking device out of foil alone... for your idea the ball thing will get hot very quickly... I used to use a test tube as a vaporiser, I presume you don't have one of those knocking about... :)

I think an apple pipe or hot can is the best idea, google them, they're very easy to make. Just make sure each hit is easy to clear in one, dont let any smoke float away, and go up to a window and exhale out of it? If you do it carefully and get it right, there shouldn't be any smell.

Me and two of my friends made an electric vap, basically cost like $20 of stuff that you can get in any hardware store.

Don't remember exactly how it went, but it's in this book, you can obtain it whichever way you want.

When I smoke at home I usually use a bong made from a pepsi bottle with my old bong's bowl. I simply open my window, put my coat on, turn on the fan, put a blanket under my door, and toke it :)

After I smoked, I let my window and fan open for 15 minutes and the smell is ALL gone. You have plenty of time to smoke if your dad is watching tv downstairs or something.
 
ok so i made the foil ball thing , and yeah it works , but takes ages to get the technique done , when you have mastered the technique its the fastest method :)
