Mailing stuff from Canada to the USA?

Let's say someone wanted to mail a fairly large number of supplemental pills (which though not illegal, would look suspicious) from Canada to the USA, how would one do this?
Would putting the pills in some sort of package of food (like a package of chips ahoy or something like that) and then re-sealing the package discreetly work? Or do they usually x-ray packages, in which case the pills would need to be packed along with similarly shaped objects? If so what objects would one use?
Has anyone heard of pills succesfully being sent across the border, and if so, what methods were used?

well, after 9-11 i don't know. but to write more stuff that doesn't answer your question i will tell you it is against USPS regs to send food over the border anywhere or to have it sent to you from another country without permits and such (not that this really ever stopped anyone).
i also was once fairly active in tape trading and have sent many packages over the border - it seems like all they did any different then mailing any other package was to make you fill out a little customs slip to stick on the package (it's the size of a small post-it).

If they are legal then why worry? Just keep them in the orginal sealed packs and put them in a box and post them. Fill out exctly what is in the box on the customs declaration. If you try to get clever and hide them in packs of M+Ms or whatever then customs will be much more likely to seize them. If they are legal and get seized raise hell, nothing beats pissing off customs officers, well nothing except pissing off tax inspectors (they are real cunts, just don't give a fuck about anybody's rights).

I don't believe that customs really clamps down that bad with Frog packages comming into the US - I'm not sure how things have changed since 9-11 but anyway..
If it's legal then just leave them in their original package and send them - if you try to hide them it's a sure fire way to lose yer shit .. you could also toss them all into a pill bottle and simply shit them like that...

Well as have the board seems clueless as to why you would want to do this I will give it an attempt.
Now it depends on how much you are transporting. If it is only a few bottles of say for instance ephedrine (enough to fit in chips ahoy) it probably doesn't matter anyway. The government can't possibly be keeping track of all those things. I would only guess if it was a very large shipment would their be a problem.
My suggestion is that you pack it up in the middle of your bag of clothes and take it directly with you. Remember you can't be busted for possesion. The real danger is not confiscation or recognition of your possesion of these perfectly legal supplements. Rather what would concern me far more is the possibility that any mail package might be searched then resealed. Now as you are even asking this question I doubt you are going to be doing something legal with them (if you were who the fuck cares if they look sucpicious).
So what you really don't want is them suspecting you doing some surveliance and then busting you. As long as the pills are on your person at all times you will know if they see them or not. If someone pulls them out and make annotations about your luggage then abandom the plan otherwise you are golden.

If it is another individual mailing the supplements to you I have some differnt suggestions. First you might just want to mail them openly in many differnt packages. The chance that any given package is opened is quite small. Moreover suppose they find one bottle of supplement (esp if it doesn't look like it is trying to be hidden) almost certainly no record of this will be made (reporting all the supplemental shipments from canada to the US would be a beurocratic nightmare.
So most likely their will be no governmental record of you recieving these packages. Even if there is the number they will believe you have should be so small as not to attract notice which is what you are probably really trying to do here.
Ohh yah and the food thing is all about infection bugs etc... it has nothing to do with manufactured supplements.
Or to be even safer if you are ordering what I think you are ordering just get a bunch of people you know to order a few bottles sure you lose a little on shipping costs but unless they have prior reason to suspect that you are acting together it is almost impossible for them to connect the activities.
Hell, this is a good legal Q&A, suppose you did some scheme like this got a bunch of people you know and are sure won't squeal even if they did convict you of manufacture those other individuals are mostly safe anyway (unless you squeal). Each of them just claims seperatly that they ordered for personal use. Sure statistically it might be clear something is up but that should raise far more than reasonable doubt for any participant in this plan.

Ohh and in terms of general sending pills across borders I have always been succesfull in recieving them in normal looking envelopes. In order to prevent pill rattling and other telltale signs placing them flat and taping them between that bubbly plastic (that stuff you have fun popping) works pretty well.

if you MUST do this, make it as FLAT as possible looking like an envelope..put that bitch like paper thin and then make it nice and conceealed and taped up INSIDE the package...
i know a guy right new sending WEED in envelopes from $$$$$$ and he has succeeded 7 times in past 4 months...luck, i dunno??he makes the fucker THIN..thats the key...
also, USUALLY tablets will make it thru customs, vials will WILL NOT usually..
dont think just because its a personal amount that you wont get busted...believe me you WILL and this situation has happened many times before..i still cant people are naive enuff to believe just because its a small amount that it will get thru guaranteed...

FreaK she CANT get busted as it is a legal suppliment! Okay maybe if she was mailing a bunch of differnt precursors to the same drug together (stupid) then possibly, otherwise they just aren't going to have any crime to charge her with.
Denial I also want to know what the fuck you are talking about. I have had benzos seized since sept 11th and it was the same shit it always is, they keep your stuff and nothing happens to you.
BOGBOBBLE: I am going to have to disagree with hiding your stuff well. The important part is to know whether or not they have found the precursurs. Remember they are legal precursurs so the danger is that they will put her on their watch list and grab her with actual illegal evidence later. Moreover a bunch of scattered say ephedrine pills hidden in an envelope is going to arose alot more sucspiscion than just a box with a few bottles. Many many non-meth users order these regularly.
