Hi all,

Firstly I appologise if this question has been asked and answered previously. I did try searching but did not find the result I was looking for.

So this is what I know:

Magnesium Oxide: Bad. Slow to absorb. Not as effective as others.
Magnesuim Citrate: Bad. Too much can give you diahera.
CHealted Magnesuim: GOOD!
Dosage: 500mg or there abouts.

My problem is trying to find a product that is the magnesuim I want (chealted) with a good mg.

I found these: http://www.solgar.co.uk/product/chelated-magnesium-100-tablets-E700.html - which look good. But they are only 100mg. Would it be fine to take 5+ at one time ^_^ ?? "Up to four a day" they say..

Which are a higher 200mg (good) but the "magnesium glycinate, an amino acid chelated mineral, in easy-to-swallow vegetable capsules for maximum assimilation" puts me off a little? Is this good?

What should I go for? Or could someone recommend a different brand?

look into CalMag -- its a mixture of calcium and magnesium carbonate -- they work better when you take them with each other
 
I've read on some other threads that taking calcium would actually be counter produtuve?
